We are a husband-wife team, and work primarily as Listing Specialists. By special arrangement we can list your property outside of our core area, anywhere in New Hampshire or Mass. It was fabulous working with Steve and Phyllis to sell our home of 40+ years and buy a new, smaller, retirement home. They explained the whole process and even evaluated with us whether it was the right move for our future. For buying our new home they helped us explore all the options: over 55 housing, new construction, renovation, and were able to find us a new ranch in a development that met our needs and style. For selling our old house they worked with us to write up all its features and spent time analyzing the market. It sold for full asking price in the first weekend. The process on both sides was smoother than we expected and they were always pleasant and attentive to our concerns. A great experience all around!

Steve and Phyllis Brown are a dream realtor team. I'm 27 and had to sell my father's house because of his health – point being, it was a chaotic time and I was very unsure and stressed about the process. To quote Steve "it sounds corny but we do real estate with love" – and so they do. They thought of everything and were above-and-beyond supportive (sometimes emotionally) the entire time. They gave me the heads up on and coached me through certain challenges/nuances in advance and were always available to answer a question. They had recommendations for cleaners, movers, etc. and overall it was blatantly clear that they are excellent at what they do. I could go on and on, but I'll say this – if you want a good experience selling your home, do not hesitate calling Steve. I promise he'll take care of you and you will have a wonderful experience.

Phyllis and Steve Brown did a wonderful job in working with my wife Patricia and I in our out of state retirement home search. Right from the beginning we both felt that we were in good hands. They make a great team, with complimentary expert Real Estate knowledge. They seem to have an endless supply of energy and made themselves available to us on our trips to New Hampshire. Purchasing a home can be a very emotional process. That process is magnified in an out of state purchase. The Brown Team (Phyllis and Steve) smoothed out that process wonderfully. Home buyers can easily get side tracked and drift off their goals. Phyllis and Steve kept us on track and with constant encouragement. They both have a vast knowledge about the home sale market. Both my wife and I were amazed at the information they seemed to have at the ready at a moments notice. We found Phyllis and Steve Brown through Angies List. Our experience with them is all that I could hope to expect. I would not hesitate to use them again, nor would I hesitate to recommend them to my friends and family. I needed to move out of state for work purposes and needed to sell my townhouse. Phyllis and Steve walked me through every aspect of the process and were my feet-on-ground when I had moved 2000 miles away. Once the townhouse was listed, it took less than a month to get an offer from a buyer and the closing took place abut 6 weeks after that. Phyllis and Steve were there to give good advice, to answer every question and to make sure things moved along toward getting prospective buyers looking at the place. They were also invaluable to me since I could not be physically there to monitor the process. I HIGHLY recommend them if you are interested in selling or buying real estate.

Steve and Phyllis are great! They work with you to fully understand your needs. They will not list your home just to list your home and get a sale. They always said our job is about people's lives not just selling homes, and they were absolutely true to their word. If Steve or Phyllis felt a home wasn't right for us, they would tell us. They were also very honest about pricing our home. They worked very hard to get that right. Bottom line after the analysis and prepping our home with their guidance, our home essentially sold in the first week on the market. The next problem was finding a home that met our needs and that wasn't easy. They stuck it out and worked with us and after several months we are where we want to be. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is going to buy or sell a home. They fully understand the entire process and they care about people.

Bottom line, my house sold within 2 weeks and I got the price that I wanted and more with them on my side. They complement each other so well. You really get a team and not a single overwhelmed realtor. The facts speak for themselves. I do have to mention that I was not greedy at my initial asking price, meaning that I did not ask way above from the market value of the house. I did not make that mistake. You have to be wise at this and with a team as great the Brown Team, decisions like these are easier to make.
Description of Work: I highly recommend the Brown Team as your team to sell your property. It was the first time I sold my house and even though they were a bit far from my location they did an excellent job in all aspects. They walked me through every step of the way and even after closing, They walked the extra mile to close all of the little open affairs including advising and helping the new owner on things that her own realtor was not too efficient at doing! They were recommended to me, as well. Note: the 'spend' amount is related to the commission to both the seller and buyer's realtors.

We cannot say enough about the professionalism, knowledge of the real estate market and care for their clients exhibitted by the Brown Team. To us it seemed like every day is a sixteen hour day for the Brown Team. They were always on top of their game and we never had to wait very long for answers or action. Overall the Brown Team was superb in their dealings with us.
Description of Work: The Brown Team was hired to find a buyer for our Methuen MA property as well as to find a condo for us to purchase in Plaistow NH. !. The Brown Team made recommendations for upgrading the Methuen property in order to command the best price. We followed their recommendations to the letter and were able to sell the property for our asking price which was $20,000.00 more than any other property sold on our circle ever. The property went on sale on Saturday and the second buyer to look at it, on the following Monday, gave us a purchase and sale aggreement by that evening. The Brown Team worked with us, sometimes as late as 9 PM in order to move things along with no waste of time. When we met at the closing attorney's office, both parties ended the session with hugs and kisses prompting the closing attorney to say:" I've never had a closing where everyone was so happy and satisfied with the process." Needless to say, the Brown Team was in total control of the situation from begining to end and were always very professional and responsive to our every inquiry. We could not have done it without their expertise and devotion to their profession. 2. After finding the exact type of condo that we wanted and at the desired location and price range, we ran into difficulty with the bank that had reposessed the property from the previous owner. The bank would not accept a purchase and sale agreement until the sale of our Methuen home was final even though we would have been first in line with a P&S and willing to pay cash for the condo. The Brown Team kept a close watch on the condo property and when, after a few weeks, the first in line prospective buyer was not able to perform, they quickly called us, picked up a P&S from us at 10 PM that very night and submitted it to the bank the very next morning. Knowing that the bank had now put the property out to the highest bidder, the Brown Team advised us to up the purchase price a little if we really wanted the property because there would be multiple offers. We did just that and within two days the bank chose us as the number one prospect. We did buy the property within the price range that we had desired and are very happy with the way the Brown Team looked out after our interest.

I am extremely happy with the service provided by the Browns. Even when we had some setbacks (no fault of theirs) they were always upbeat and encouraging. They always seemed to maintain an eye for what we were looking for in our first home, and we are extremely happy with the house we bought.
