PROCIDANO

I had called a few times last week and got no answer. This morning I emailed him but then I heard back from someone else I had contacted last week, and had just made arrangements for pickup tonight. I opened my email to send to "John" to disregard my inquiry as I was all set, and had an email from him just minutes before saying he could come tomorrow to give me an estimate, then arrange a pickup date later if I agreed to his price. I replied that I had just made arrangements to have it picked up today, and apologized for wasting his time but I didn't expect to be able to get such a quick pickup date and wanted to be rid of it. He just replied back to me that because I had asked him about it, my reply was a "cheap excuse". He couldn't have had more than 5 minutes invested in the email (reading and replying) and I apologized for wasting his time. I assured him I won't take another moment of his time now or in the future but I'd be sure to pass along his rude reply so others don't waste his time either.
