Description of Work: Move furniture from living room to attached garage while wood floors were refinished. Manager visited house to estimate cost and men needed to move. Included an upright piano. Day of moving, manager arrived and said they really didn't want to move the piano and put it on a dolly and wanted the floor refinishers to move it around. They charged me for 3-men which the manager required to move all the items. They weren't experienced movers, yet they said they could move pianos. They put a refinished trunk on top of the sofa. Total move time was less than an hour, but they still charged for 3-men, which they didn't need. No refund offered.

Description of Work: I hired Daniels Moving of Lebanon on short notice to move my mom from Pittsburgh to Vermont. My original, bigger moving company cancelled at the last minute! Daniels offered service as they came back through the Midwest with a nice clean truck, just the right size for my moms 3 room apartment and many boxes. They hired a temp employee in Pittsburgh who was quiet but hard working. They were extremely professional. They wrapped everything carefully. They kept in touch with calls about time and delivery. The cost was extremely reasonable. They were friendly and efficient, but not rushed.

Daniels Moving and Storage saved my life at the last minute! My other big national mover bagged out me at the last minute. I had to move my 90 year old mom from Pittsburgh to Vermont during a certain week. There was no choice. I was desperate and stressed. There were so many details, and the mover was not supposed to fall through! I called Daniels, which I should have done in the first place. They just happened to be going through Pennsylvania within that week. Not only were they very professional, they were friendly and on time. Sherilyn at the office, and Chris, the driver were amazing. Chris was very kind to my mom and took utmost care with her stuff. His assistants were very professional also. On top of that, their price was the best! How good is that?!
Description of Work: Moving of 1+ BEDROOM apartment from Pittsburgh to Vermont. No packing, but special care in handling furniture for my elderly mom.

They are local and I always try to use local. We were not very satisfied with them. It wasn't necessarily the price. We had some things missing. They put tape on our furniture but it got stuck. We have called to try and get in contact with them. We couldn't trust them.
Description of Work: I used Daniels Moving & Storage to move me from New Hampshire to Florida.
