Established in August 2000, we are a family owned and operated home improvement company specializing in Metal Roofing. From the traditional metal panels with a 40 yr warranty to metal shingles that simulate the look of traditional asphalt shingles, slate and wood shake with 50 yr warranty's, we have a style and a budget that will fit anyones needs. Estimates are FREE and informative because every customer deserves to know the pros and cons of their potential investment and there is never an obligation or pressure to buy.

Description of Work: Complete metal roof installed over 1 layer of existing asphalt shingles. Work done as promised, on schedule, maintained clean and safe work site, with complete cleanup at the end. People were easy to work with. Everything is apparently working fine.

They arrived on time with four separate crews, stripped 73 square of roofing in one day and were completely done in four! They have been back twice to repair ice dam damage at no charge even though the damage was not caused by any fault of Total Concepts.
Description of Work: Stripped and replaced roof of my Victorian home and Carriage House.

After a year or so the back part of our roof started to leak very bad. We called and they sent one man out who worked on it. He put sealant under the shingles and some kind of chaulking along the seams. quite a few screws were driven right into the shingles. This lasted a few years then it began to pour in again. I called them and the rude woman told me I would have to "PAY" $195 for two men to come out and look at it. I said I was told when I signed the contract for an expensive 50 year roof they would cover me. She said that wasn't so and actually hung up on me as I protested. My wife has written her but they have not contacted us. We actually let them use our house on a comercial after the work and posted their sign out front for a long time. Shame on them. I wouldn't advise anyone to use their service.

This customer completely mis-understands their 50 year manufacturer warranty. We do not imply to our customers that the manufacturers warranty covers labor expense for Total Concepts. Our company gives a 2 year labor warranty on ALL of our installations. The manufacturer's warranty states that their product will not fail for a period of 50 years. This does not include maintenance. The amount of maintenance that each roof needs depends on the design of the roof system, the exposure to elements and the proper care and maintenance on the customers behalf. The customer's 2 year labor warranty expired over a year ago. The office staff tried to explain the difference in the warranty's and what each one covers but the customer continued to rudely cut off the staff member and began making threats to defame the company. He showed a complete lack of respect with his demeanor and the staff member decided that she would not continue to engage in the conversation any longer because she was getting no where with the customer who refused to listen. The staff simply stated "I am trying to speak with you professionally and if you cant speak to me in a mature way then I am no longer speaking to you." and the staff member did hang up.
