+ -1 moreThey did a great job with a very challenging location in a 98 year old home. They are our "go to" guys for everything "hearth". Strong strong recommendation! One thing they can do to raise customer sat even higher is to present a total unified team front to the customer when there are two installers involved. Love the product, love the service. Great supplier.

+ -1 moreI have an older model pellet stove that needed repairs. It gets cold in New Hampshire. Fireside Living diagnosed the problem, ordered the correct parts, installed the parts, gave me some tips on maintenance and repaired the pellet stove. Fireside Living was willing to go the "extra mile", since the pellet stove is in a cottage on an island. Their tools were cheerfully hauled into the boat. No problems. This company is professional and , knowledgeable. When the time comes to replace my current pellet stove, I would not hesitate to buy it - or any of the other "home and heath" items from Fireside Living in Laconia, NH.

+ 1 moreThe process is not really important, they charged for parts and service that was not installed, resulting in a chimney that did not meet code, creating a very dangerous situation. This situation went undiscovered until the house burned, endangering our lives, destroying property, and displacing us from our house, which is estimated to take 6 months or more to repair.
Description of Work: Fireside Living provided me a quote to install two wood stove chimneys in my new house (built in August 2010). They did not install all the parts on the quote, leaving out the attic insulation shield as well as other parts. As a result the chimneys did not meet building codes or manufacturers specifications. This was unknown, as the parts lists indicated the correct parts per the manufacturers installation manuals. The house caught fire (in January 2011), causing significant damage. They billed for the full quote, never informing anyone that the chimney was not completed per the quote.
