My house is over 200 years old and I have been renovating and updating it, dealing with multiple contractors over the past 4 years. Kevin was exceptional. He was extremely professional. The entire process was "the way it should be". He responded promptly to my initial request for quote. He communicated well on times, project scope and materials. He showed up when he said he would, was respectful of my house and completed the project on time and on budget. And most of all he did an excellent job. I am very pleased with the quality of his work, especially, since he fixed past contractor's sloppy work. I have already requested additional work.

Kevin and David show up on time at 8:00 and David spent 8 hours fixing our popped drywall screws and remudded and sanded the entire area and in preparation for future painting. Did a great job and David was a great guy with the sheet rock. I would hire them again and I got my money's worth.

During a DIY bedroom update I found a window that needed to be replaced due to the 1980's window sill leaking into the wall. I called Kevin and he came out the next day to assess the job and take measurements. He was on time and professional. He was very knowledgable and gave some advice with a few options. I decided I wanted to replace a total of 3 windows in addition to replacing the damaged plywood on the exterior of the leaking window. I contacted several other companies, but chose Kevin for the price, timeline, and general impression from the first meeting. I ended up having to compress the timeline because I needed the room finished for some guests coming in, and Kevin was completely accommodating. We got the windows ordered and in hand in 2 weeks, and he had them installed in a couple days complete with interior trim and patching the drywall. The original quote included the window install, but didn't include replacing the damaged sheathing or drywall since it we couldn't tell how bad it was until the work started. After finishing the job, he was able to get the windows in faster than he anticipated, so he honored his original price and included the drywall and exterior sheathing work! Overall Kevin did great work, was on time and on budget.

Kevin for starters, answered my phone call at 9:30 PM on a weeknight - I was just shopping around and planning on leaving a message for him. He was more than happy to discuss my ideas of what we wanted and agreed to come out right away to plan. He was always on time and courteous and provided a lot of good insight on the deck and usability of the structure. He completed the entire thing on time and on budget and really helped out with the permit process and working with the town. I would recommend this guy to my own mother. He's a class act and has great craftsmanship - our deck looks beautiful and very strong. We look forward to using it for decades to come!

Kevin did a great job. You would never know there was damage in the room after Kevin finished. He did great work and even ensured some prior mistake (made during the floor installation) were corrected by him at no further charge. One other thing that Kevin did that no other contractor or handyman has ever done for me was to ask "Was there anything I could have done better?" Wow. I will definitely use Kevin again in the future.

Horribly. All he kept asking was how much I had to spend. I replied that price was secondary and proceeded to describe the job requirements. Then I provided a ballpark range for budgeting purposes. All he wanted to know was how much I had to spend. Somehow, I got the feeling if Isaid $10k, his bill would have been just that, $10k. He has zero customer service skills in his toolkit so don't waste your time with him

It went excellent. From the beginning Kevin was responsive - getting right back to me, coming by when scheduled, calling to let me know if there was any change of plan, returning calls quickly. He stuck by his estimate even when the job took a little bit longer than planned. He cleaned up after himself and was very professional.

Kevin was punctual, responsive, and very detail oriented. He gave us his honest and much appreciated evaluation of the job and how to best accomplish the work within our budget. His estimate was true to cost and he was a pleasure to work with. We were very comfortable having him at and in our home. Kevin arranged for an electrician to come and facilitated our communication with the electrician to make the timing go smoothly. He also encouraged us to fill up the dumpster he brought over, which was a huge bonus! We chose Kevin as our top choice from 3 estimates and would definitely use his services again. Thanks Kevin!!!

Kevin is very conscientious and a hard worker. He did a great job of setting and meeting all expectations. He was extremely responsive from first contact through project wrap-up. His approach was careful and methodical. I will recommend Kevin without reservation, and plan to employ his skills for other projects I have. Very positive experience overall. Great job!

The work went very smoothly. For a start Kevin Percival is very personable, and he is a pleasure to work with. He did all the work himself and worked steadily when on the job. He always let me know his expected arrival and departure times and kept to them pretty well. Throughout the job he kept me informed of his progress and of any problems he was having or that he discovered in the course of the work. He kept a neat work area, even when he had to open an interior wall to assess the extent of rot behind the chimney. In this latter case, after replacing the rotted wood and insulation that he discovered, he repaired and painted the interior wall to the point that the cut out is invisible. In the process, he produced no detectable dust or paint splatters inside. Kevin restricts his work pretty much to carpentry and painting, but he had an electrician on ready call for removing the outside lighting fixtures mounted to the soffits and safing the wiring . His work appears to be of excellent quality, and I expect to call on him again for further repairs or remodeling.

Kevin was great. He was professional and we are extremely happy with his work. He called us immediately after we placed our request, he was prompt in coming out to complete an estimate, and he was honest about his timeline to complete the work. He stuck to his word, and the job was done in a timely fashion. He worked with us to pick out the best option for our door addition, and he made his recommendations for an option we had not previously considered. We were glad that he did, since the result was much better than we had expected! We would definitely use him again.

Kevin was very reliable, professional and did great work. His estimate was very close to the actual cost - and when additional materials were needed, he was able to tell us on the spot exactly what the cost would be. He arrived when he said he would (both to meet to discuss what we wanted and for the actual job itself), and completed the job timely. Our finished deck looks great! He was a pleasure to work with and I would recommend him highly.

Kevin put in a small deck, built out a closet into a bathroom with framing and trim work, and also repaired a door frame. All his work was well done and on time. He was able to give us the best work in matters of time, money and material - and was conscientious of our happiness in the project. Kevin made every effort to ensure that we were happy with the final product. Our living room is now a beautiful and accommodating yoga studio that can easily be transformed back into a living room when we wish to sell our home in the future.

End product was top quality, and he communicated with us and consulted with us as work progressed. He was fairly priced and carefully explained every aspect of the charges. Kevin is an extremely detail oriented craftsman. He took our idea and guided us to a final design. Once we arrived at a final design he custom built and finished the entire unit. It has completely transformed our basement. Kevin was also always very prompt and even worked Saturdays to make up for missed time due to illness. We would definitely use Kevin again and am happy to provide a personal recommendation. Top shelf.

It went great. Kevin was very professional, proactively called me a couple times to see if I still needed help (how many handymen do that?) and showed up when he said he would. Great experience all around.

Kevin answered my initial call and was at my house a few hours later! He checked out our door and ended up pointing out some areas on the outside that could be re-caulked which would probably fix the issue, instead of telling me to rip out the whole door. While he was here, he also gave me a ballpark quote for finishing our attic and cautioned me about some additional regulations that would have to be looked into because of the height of the window. He clearly knows his stuff and was very friendly and down to earth. While we didn't end up needing him to do any immediate work, he will absolutely be our first call the next time we need something done!

I contacted Kevin to ask about handrails in my granite stairs. He had never gotten that request before, but offered to do some research for me. He called me back about 15 minutes later with the name and number of another company that I could try. He was very helpful and when we need a contractor in the future, he will be the one I call.

Small job. He did it quick and at a fair price. The only person of the 5-7 I called who actually was willing to do the job, because of the small nature of it. Would hire again!

We were very pleased overall with his workmanship and professionalism. He was very timely and I thought the price of the project was fair. The only thing I would like to see is to see more detail in his estimate. He gave me a proposal but it didn't have as much detail as I wish it would have had.

I needed some minor deck repairs and doors trimmed. Kevin was very prompt in getting back to me and was courteous and professional. Very happy with his service and will be using him again.
