Client be ware. The guy's only "nice" to first time remodelers, probably to save/recover his reputation. My project seemed to have gone well until the very end after he received complete payment. After that, he seemed to forget what he said he would fix long before final payment was made (he forgets a lot). He ended making a bunch of excuses blaming me for what needed to be fixed and hung up with the words “get somebody else”. So if you’re prepared for such treatment, you won’t be disappointed. I can’t say I find him 100% professional because of this nor, stunningly, mature for his old age. I was happy overall with how he installed my cabinets and flooring even though due to poor eyesight, some cabinet handles are completely out of alignment and the most chipped/damaged planks were put in the middle of either my room or kitchen, whereas they should have been set aside by the wall. I chose to overlook that because he was friendly at the beginning and the project seemed to have gone mostly well, even bypassing that he complained on the phone to his friend “how much crap he has to deal with” here, something that made me wonder why he agreed to take this job. I also overlooked visible scratches on my brand new laundry machines and minor chips in cabinetry after installing them. In the end, it wasn’t what he did or didn’t do, it’s how he approached the situation after the money was in his hand (wink wink). He will basically treat you like a pos and talk down to you, because your project at a mobile home wasn’t high enough of a standard in comparison to other high-end properties he may deal with. They say be careful how you treat the little guy because it does expose how much smaller he, as a professional, is. Sad.

Ed LeClair did a fantastic job. We can't say enough on how thankful we are. The builder who built our customized shower really did a horrible job (Dave Turner-The Excellent Handyman Barrington NH). Mr. LeClair reconstructed everything and it is now in perfect shape. Ed LeClair stuck to his quote and timeframe the project would take. He is a true professional. Description of Work: Rebuilt my custom shower that had been poorly constructed about six years ago by another builder
