I hired Action Roofing to repair our asphalt shingled roof which was damaged in a windstorm. While Stephen was here he also repaired the flashing around our chimney and fixed a leaking skylight. It is hard to find a roofing company you can trust that is not going to charge you an arm and a leg. Stephen did an excellent job! The work was all done in less than a day. His pricing was very fair and affordable. And the work professionally done. I would highly recommend him if you are looking for honest, quality work, done by a professional. I was so impressed, I hired him for some additional work.

Maybe worst experience from any contractor. May have just been a bad day for Stephen, but he arrived on time, but didn't call to let me know he was here, like I asked him to. He started to put up the ladder where it would damage my "Rain Handlers" (metal rain diverters that take the place of gutters). I asked him to move the ladder to where it works best and he got mad, and left.

Superior quality of work done by Steve, who is a skilled and knowledgeable craftsman, at a reasonable price. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Requested quotes from multiple locations but Steve form Action Roofing responded the quickest. He came out quickly, took a look, and explained everything going on. Showed me the material he planned on using and we scheduled the work to be done. Unfortunately the work had to be pushed back due to lack of some materials, but still a pretty good turnaround. Steve was able to work with me and I was able to pay with PayPal since this was an unexpected expense for me. The section done looks great and he was able to finish it relatively quickly by himself. This week we had a pretty intense thunderstorm and it's holding up great. Very appreciative of the work done, and would definitely recommend to anyone else.

Very well, Stephen was professional, courteous, and punctual. The quality of his work was top notch, and I will be using him again for my future projects.

Very complete report. Made a couple of minor patches

We needed an emergency roof repair after very strong winds blew quite a few shingles off. Steve came out on a very cold day and repaired our roof to make sure it was done prior to an incoming snow storm. We greatly appreciate his good work and professionalism.

It's tough to find people to do smaller roofing repair jobs. These guys did a great job at a fair price. Also great communication - there were delays because of the weather but they always kept me informed.

Steve, was quick to respond and for such a small job. I needed one shingle repaired. Very small job but Steve showed up on time and did a great job. I would recommend him.

Steve gave prompt estimate and completed the work on schedule, with excellent results. We are very pleased with the appearance and the installation of two "Whirlybird " ventilators. Because Steve did all of the work himself, it took a few days, but the roof was always weather-tight at the end of each work day.

Steve responded very quickly by phone and then came to look at the chimney right away. Although he was very busy, he found room in his schedule to fit me in a few weeks later. He promptly came on the scheduled day. So far there haven't been any leaks. I actually paid less than his original estimate because once he looked closer at the job (up on the very high roof) he said it was less work than he originally thought. That was a very nice surprise.

Steve was easy to work with, pretty responsive for the most part, and got the work done well. he seems to be a good guy with a good work ethic. we would use Steve again if another project were to come up.

He did an excellent job. The work took him a couple hours longer than he anticipated, but he refused extra money from the price he originally agreed on.

The Roof Inspection we purchased through Angie's List went fairly well, and turned up some issues that we wanted to take care of. After going back and forth, exchanging e-mails about the scope of the additional work to be done (based on the inspection results), we agreed on a date to perform the work. The original work-day came and went, but the provider didn't show--or call. We re-scheduled. The re-scheduled time came and went. Nothing again. That was a couple months ago.

Quick response. Inspected roof and found leaking flashing around chimney. No extra charge. It's been 6 months and everything seems dry!
