Description of Work: Correct address of his real estate office 149 Emerald Street, Keene, NH Richard Thackston was the listing agent, we had our own agent who took us to see the house on Monday morning. Thackston was not there. Tuesday we made an offer, owners countered, we countered and they accepted verbally. Thackston wanted a letter from our bank that we had the funds by 4:00 PM which we provided. He would then get papers signed. However, in the meantime other people were showing interest in the house. Thackston delayed getting the form signed so other offers could be made. We had to up our offer or lose getting the house. I beleive he had his own buyer and was trying to get us out and then he wouldn't have to split commission. He was always thinking of himself and not the seller or buyer. I would not use him to sell my house or look at a house where he was the listing agent. As far as I am conserned he is not someone you can trust I am reporting his actions to the local board of realtors. We mentioned what RichardThackston had done to our lawyer and he said that he had heard unkind words about Thackston.
