Keene Door

This started with a site survey of the shed/barn where a garage door was to be quoted. They had a cancelled order for the correct size/color door and offered it to me for the budget price I was considering. The installer/technician was extremely professional and prompt. Guidance and advise was sounds. Installation and work were top notch quality. Cleaned up after himself completely, didn't find any dust or parts or shavings like many contractors after the fact.

I called on a Tuesday and spoke to a very friendly and straight-shooting salesman. Rick, I believe. He told me he could probably replace the gear in the unit that had just jammed and then stripped, but that because the units were probably 15 or more years old, they were well past their warranty. 4 days later, 2 very professional installers were at my house. They arrived right on time and were done in just under 2 hours. My doors used to bang and creek when opening. They also were out of alignment and looked like they may be on their last leg where the door carriage attaches to the top of the door. They fixed this by adding a spline to each door (a piece of steel). The doors are so quiet now, you can barely hear them opening, not just because of the belt drive on the new openers, but because of the care the technicians took align, grease and adjust the tracks. The price might seem a bit spendy, but I opted for 2 top of the line units, both with Internet capability. I can open the doors from anywhere and get reminders if I leave the doors open.

One garage door had frozen shut without our knowing, and buckled slightly at top when we tried to open. They should have had bars across the top! Keene Door scheduled us quickly, installed the bars, did general check-up, and did great work. They would not have installed doors without the support bars! I would recommend Keene Door, and have done so.

Went great! They seem to be a very busy bunch but made it to my house the same day I called. Very professional, great explanation of what needed to be done and why and the options. I have another unit that I want to replace completely and plan on dealing with this company again for that project. All good.

We were very happy with the work done. The men who came were professional and finished the job quickly and efficiently. We would definitely recommend this company.

Very pleasantly surprised So pleased to find this company on Angie's list. Customer service was excellent and quality of work performed was as well. We have a very old garage door that now works like new. Never thought they could repair vs replace but they managed that. They were here when they said they would, the guys were pleasant and informative about what they quoted and what work they had done when they were finished.

Overall excellent experience and would strongly recommend them. We had a broken spring on the garage door opener which was a major inconvenience. I tried to fix the door myself....WHICH I ABSOLUTELY do not recommend if you have a door that weighs over 10LBS!!! I called Keene Door...told them of the problem, they were able to fit me in the next day. They arrived on time, fixed the problem and we are very pleased with the results.

One of the cables on the garage door broke while closing the door trapping my wife's car inside. I called Keene Door around 6:00PM and left a message. Mike returned my call within a few minutes (after hours) and said they would schedule us as their first call in the AM. Around 7:15AM we received another call from Jim to see if we were being taken care of. They showed up a little after 8:00AM and had the repair done in an hour along with inspecting the entire door. We will be replacing our garage door in the very near future and I would not call anyone else except Keene Door.
