Cushing & Sons Well Drillers

We got up at 5:15 am and had no water. We looked at the system as best we could and decided to call Cushing. We called about 6:30 and got the answer service. We told them our problem. Bart called us back about 5 minutes later. He asked us to for some information and before we could get back to him, our doorbell rang and Jeff was standing there with the new pump. By 9 0'clock we had water and everything was done and all cleaned up. They wore masks and did safe distancing and were very polite.

The service truck was waiting for me at the appointed time. The inspection had already begun with removal of the well cap and measurement of water levels. We went inside to see the pressure tank, pressure regulator, backflow valve, and control unit which were all tested and set to specification. After running the water for over an hour, the well water level was again checking and calculations were made as to the well output. Since the system was 20 years old, recommendations were made for replacement of malfunctioning parts and a verbal estimate was given, a written estimate was not requested. Written report and given to me on the spot. Water samples were drawn off for testing by another company but reported promptly to us later. The cost of these tests were added to our bill and in addition to about $400 for the service call. Total bill was about $500, but that depended on the water tests requested.
