+ -1 moreMy basement Modine heater was suspended from the basement ceiling joists with steel rod. The " hard " connection caused excessive noise to be transmitted through the floor into the living area of my home. ( mainly the master bedroom ) Upon notifying the heating service manager, he found a pair of elastomer isolators and sent his service team to my home to install them. |The sound transmission annoyance was mitigated to an acceptable level. I am no longer awoken at night by the annoying sound of the heater ! |I am pleased with these results... this work was done at no cost to me !! |
