This company is phenomenal. Michael was not your typical contractor. He gave a rough quote over text and then actually showed up a day early, on a holiday!! Additionally, he was efficient and tidy. I only wish he did more than garage doors so I could hire him for other jobs around the house. A great company.

It was excellent. He was very awesome and know what he was doing. The price is reasonable and on time. He found the problem and fix it.

I called quite a few companies as I wanted a HAAS garage door and they called me right back and came out to take a look to quote me a price. They worked with me on the price and came in the lowest around. The day of the installation the two workers showed up right on time and installed the doors and openers like true professionals. The were very neat, cleaned up afterwards and demonstrated how everything worked. It has been 4 months and I am very happy with the doors and the install.

Mike was very responsive when asked to come out to the house for a quote. I knew I wanted raised panel insulated doors, however I was not sure about the make or model. Mike provided me with a couple of options, and within a week I made my decision and with a nominal down payment Mike placed the order. Once Mike received the equipment he contacted me to schedule an install date. His crew was able to come out for the install at 9:30am the following morning. 2 young gentlemen arrived about 10 minutes early and got right to work. Going none-stop, approximately 4 hours later the installation was completed.The new doors, tracks, motors, inside wall switches and outside keypad were all up. The installation of all the new bracktry, wiring and door hardware looks very well down, very solid and professional. I noticed no miss drilled holes or sloppy work at all. His crew also did a very thorough job cleaning up afterwards. The lead installer took about 15 minutes to show me every feature regarding operation and maintenance. They were both very professional and did a fantastic job. I'm also equally happy with the products themselves. The doors operate very smoothly along the tracks, while the motor is as quite as any I've ever heard. The seal around the doors when closed seems very snug and well done. The features include motion sensor activated lighting and manual switches to turn on or off the lighting and/or activate the doors. The remotes and outside keypad were all easy to program. Lastly the HomeLink feature also worked very well and was easy to setup in my vehicles, allowing me to leave the remotes at home.

Mike replaced a damaged garage door along with the track and other hardware associated with the garage door opener. He did a prompt and thorough job, finishing up all work in less than a day and leaving the place pretty clean to boot. Very happy with the quality of work and professionalism he demonstrated.

Steve was prompt in responding to our phone call, estimating the job, providing sample colors and installing the door. It went quickly and we are pleased with the results.

they showed up on time, were friendly and did the work quickly. did try to up sell me on repairs but not obnoxious about it. i did like that they left a company sticker with their number on the wall above my garage door control. said that parts were warrantied for 1 year from date of service. i would use them again.

Saved me hundreds of dollars. The fee for coming out to my house and repairing the door was in my opinion very reasonable.

He came right away, and had the part we needed in stock. After he fixed the pulleys he inspected the second door for the same problem. He was very easy to work with. A number of weeks later we had a problem with the second door, It would not close properly. I called around 9pm and he answered the phone. He gave me a tip that he felt might correct the problem but said if it did not to please give him a call back and he would come out the next day. The suggestion worked eliminating the need for a service call or any cost. I am very impressed with his professionalism and his service.

Project went well but took longer than anticipated since panels needed to be matched to existing upper door panels. A few days after job completion the new garage door opener failed. Upon notification Mr.Shumsky came out the next day and replaced the mother board on the new garage door opener. Mr.Shumsky was very professional and punctual.

Only complaint was he did not clean up after the job. Left all the old material behind with trash all over

I have used Shumsky Doors twice in the last 2 months. Once on my rental and once at home. Both times I was very satisfied.

This guy was amazing. I called THIS MORNING, and they sent someone over same day (without me asking). The technician was friendly and knowledgeable. He could have probably talked me into getting a whole new system, but he just told me all my options. He also took the time to show me when different things would probably need to be replaced in the future. I've never been more pleased with someone working in my home.

I called Mike Shumsky after one of the torsion springs broke on our garage. They were very courteous and professional. While many other vendors said that it would take multiple days to get the correct parts and do the repair. Mike was able to get the parts the same day. They arrived exactly as promised, thoroughly explained the issues and any suggestions to improve the life of the garage door. Although they carefully mentioned any issues that they found they didn't try to up-sell me on non-necessary repairs or equipment. And the price of the job actually came in cheaper than originally quoted!!! These guys are great. Honest, professional, courteous, respectful. I would definitely use them again in the future and recommend that others consider them as well.

Though the issue was quite simple (basically needed oil and tweak motor settings), the kind of service and professionalism I got from Mike was outstanding. I have had bad experiences with some garage door company in past but my experience with Mike was excellent. He came in on Saturday on very short notice and took care of the issue. He even performed some tasks that wasn't even asking for like change light bulbs on motor, etc. We need more folks like these!
