Lenzi Construction Does It Again: Extraordinary Performance, Exceptional Support, Efficient Execution: In a word—The Best! Second stage renovation completed (see prior review of kitchen renovation, 4/29/17): This time principally exterior repair and deck installation. Lenzi Construction again delivers superlative work, with exceptional design (by Ed Lenzi) and execution (by Ed, Bob, and Brian). Key to the successful completion of this stage was the masterwork of carpenter and all-round home reconstructionist Bob and assistant Brian. As you can see, the completed project was nothing less than spectacular! (The pictures speak for themselves.) I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again, if Ed, and his company, does the kind of work we want done, Ed is the first and only person we’d hire.

Ed and his crew did such an excellent job on our kitchen, dining room, and deck. Ed was super responsive, and was great to communicate with through email or text. Ed was great at making recommendations while still leaving the decisions to us. The attention to detail was top notch, and Ed and Bob did an excellent job fitting up our cabinets, window, and new door, as well as the flooring and all the other details. Ed was very accommodating to changes during the job. He and his crew also got the job done quickly, which was great for a kitchen renovation. They worked hard to ensure the process was smooth and as non-disruptive as possible. Ed was onsite every day, either working alongside his crew or coordinating with contractors, and he and his crew take pride in their work. Ed works with great businesses, including Karen of Friend Lumber who was so helpful and experienced in helping us select the cabinet style and layout, and Brian of Nashua Tile who was also very helpful in helping us pick out our tile. Ed and crew were a pleasure to work with. Everyone loves our new kitchen, and we are so happy we chose Ed to be our contractor. We highly recommend him!

When searching reviews of contractors and other service providers, we all seek the same thing—someone who will provide good service and whom we can trust. When fortunate, we’ll find someone who is notably above the norm. In finding Ed Lenzi and his company, Lenzi Construction, we were beyond extraordinarily lucky. Ed is, without question, the best there is at what he does. (Read on for specifics; see the picture.) From the start (when we met with Ed), it was clear that he was very knowledgeable about the work he does and service he provides, and was very focused on what we wanted in our kitchen renovation/remodeling project. He provided excellent advice, which aided us greatly in making the best decisions on the work to be done. We knew we had found someone who would be a true partner in this project—who, during the planning stage, was more concerned with our interests and expectations, than his own. Someone also very concerned with satisfying his inner standard of excellence, as well as that of his customers. Once we hired Ed and his company, he was regularly in touch and was never more than moments away, via a call, email, or text, when we had questions or concerns. As stated, a true partner with us, which was important in light of the scale of this project. Once we all agreed on the best plan for the project, Ed directed us to his exceptional supporting suppliers: Karen of Friend Lumber (who was responsible for the actual kitchen design (using input from Ed and us) and assisted us in cabinetry selection); Ripano Stoneworks (responsible for assisting with granite selection and layout as well as installation, which was executed exceptionally by Fernando and his crew); and Nashua Tile (Brian), for the tile and backsplash. Clearly, the best attracts the best! Once the project actually started, Ed was onsite from demolition through to completion, which went quickly and efficiently. Again, we were extremely fortunate—Ed was available to work directly on our project as a craftsman and carpenter, along with Bob, a stellar carpenter, who works with Ed. The best only hires the best! The completed project was nothing less than spectacular! (The picture speaks for itself.) In conclusion, if Ed, and his company, does the kind of work we want done, Ed is the first person we’d go to. In fact, we’ve already hired Ed and Lenzi Construction for other projects, including installation of a state-of-the-art new deck.

All new construction was needed due to huge ice & snow damage caused by the winter of 2015 storms. Homeowner pulled necessary permits from the City based on documents prepared by Ed Lenzi. Builder was on site for 2.5/3 months. Outstanding workers & craftsmanship. Removed all debris & cleaned up site. A great job! No problems!

I asked for an esitmate. was asked to send a picture of what I would like completed, which I did. I sent lots of pictures because I wanted them to have as much of the puzzle as possible without actually coming out to see what needed to be done. Then when I asked for detail on the estimate I was told it would cost $200 to get it in writing, but that would come off the bill if I decided to do work with them. Does that really count as a free estimate? not in my book. Then I never heard back from them?! Over a week longer than they said I would hear something. So i texted (all communication was through text) and asked why I hadn't heard anything. I heard right back about how busy they were because of the winter, but that really isnt my issue or concern. Then I got a price with minimal explanation. But the kicker after 20 texts and a dozen pictures was that the work listed was for only 3/4 of the work that we original texted about... Too bad because they had some great reviews....

These guys were fantastic from start to finish. I was given Ed Lenzi's name from a friend who was using the company to build a deck. I first called Ed a few months ago and decided to hold off on an estimate due to the $200 fee that is charged (which is deducted from the project if the work is done). I learned after a few months of trying to find other contractors to come out and give estimates (I wasn't using Angie's List yet), that it was hard finding anyone to build this for us. I had people come but then never got back to me with costs. Many contractors just didn't return my calls. So I went back to Ed as I had really liked his honesty on the phone and decided it was worth paying for an estimate with a company that was serious about doing the work. Ed Lenzi came out for an estimate within a few days and we went over all aspects of the proposed project. He discussed any concerns he had as well as the potential cost. He spent time answering my questions and never made me feel like he had to rush off to another project. He knew what our budget was and helped us stay within it. He worked on the project as well as Brian and Brian.....everyone was friendly, courteous, and professional. At times when I was given options on how to proceed, Ed discussed the pros and cons of each. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience which was very helpful. The project was finished on time. Some unexpected rot was discovered on the house which they fixed at a very reasonable cost. The porch is beautiful! It's not a rustic porch, but a finished looking one that ties in with the rest of the house. I would recommend Lenzi Construction to everyone and will absolutely be using them again for future projects.

I couldn't have been any happier with Ed and his crew. From the start of my Farmers porch to the finish. they were on time everyday and were always courteous and professional.and there attention to detail and craftsmanship was top notch!!!! Eds communication through out the project was outstanding, any questions or concerns I had he answered immediately and would offer different options. I highly recommend Ed and his team for any project!!!!

We hired Ed to build a 2-story addition (family room + office) to our 90 year old home. We had atleast 2 other estimates but the difference with Ed was he gave us a clear breakdown of all the components and what each stage of the work would cost. Whislt his estimate was not cheap, we liked the fact that the estimate had the details of the materials he said he would use. The project is now complete and we can gladly say that we have been happy chappies throughout. The best part through the process has been top notch communication. The best way to get int touch with Ed is via email and he responds very very promptly. All stages of the work have proceeded smoothly despite it being frigid cold....from excavation to framing to electrical to HVAC to all the carpentry. Ed's management of timeline is excellent and his crew have always stuck to that timeline. They arrive on time and get on the job right away. I especially want to say that Ed's carpentry crew is very accomplished. We would definitely recommend Ed to anyone who is thinking of a complex project like an addition

I met with Lenzi Construction & Remodeling LLC who were very professional and punctual, a quality I really like. We went over the plan and agreed on a price. I set high expectations for the project and Lenzi Construction did not disappoint. The workers were at my house every day on time and during the tear down phase of the remodel they always had the work area and the surrounding rooms very clean and accessible to my family. During the remodel the workers would involve me in the process and were very responsive to my questions and concerns.The job was done on time and under budget. we had a custom light fixture on back order that was delivered after the project was completed. Lenzi Construction was very proactive about the light fixture and communicated the status and scheduled a appointment when the fixture came in and promptly came over and installed the fixture. The new bathroom is wonderful and gives my son more freedom than he ever had before. I highly recommend Lenzi Construction& Remodeling LLC for home projects.

Ed and his crew did a fantastic job. They took one of my two garages and made it into an open concept living room and kitchen-area and opened. up a hallway to flow into the existing downstairs bedrooms and bath. The apartment came out beautiful, stayed within my budget and finished on time. The laminated floors and plaster walls came out flawless. I highly recommend Ed Lenzi construction as I have sinced used Eds services to replace my wood deck with trex decking and later had Ed return for a third job to install a porch covering on one side of the deck. As usual the work came out beautiful and finished with budget. I receive countless compliments for the deck and porch. Ed and his guys do wonderful work and I'm sure you will be thrilled with his workmanship and professionalism. I will only be calling Lenzi for any future projects.

One of the bathroom floors has humps in it (Octagon dot tile). The floor was ripped down to the joists, plywood and cement board. were installed. The floor in this particular bathroom floor is off 1/2" over an 8' span. The pedestal base (1 foot long) has a 5/8" gap on one end. There are tiles that pop out of the floor that you can feel barefoot. This floor should be flat but the hump radiates out in all directions. The contract refuses to take responsibility for the humps and uneven tiles in the floor and refuses to make any attempt to fix it. I can provide pictures if requested.

A+ job the whole way around. Lenzi will be my first call for the next project. They had the most competitive estimate. His crew showed up on time and were efficient, professional, and polite. The quality of the work was excellent. Even though it was a small job (less than 3 days), Ed's team made us feel like this was the most important project they had. And best of all, the initial estimate was the final price! No surprises!

Very responsive contractor! Timely in his service and finished within a month. He was helpful in giving us advice. His crew was very professional I plan to hire him again for some interior work this winter

As usual with Lenzi Construction everything went excellent! The door was stained and installed in 5 hours. They even re-painted the trim around the inside of the door which wasn't even part of the scope of work. Another great job by Ed Lenzi and his crew!

Excellent Contractor! Ed Lenzi is a true professional who does impeccable work and stands by it. Unlike most contractors, he's not interested in getting the job done as quick as possible and then getting your money, he makes sure everything is to your satisfaction every step of the way. If there are any issues that you notice after the job is completed and he is fully paid, he stands by his work and will come back and correct it. You can't go wrong hiring Lenzi Construction!

We hired Lenzi Construction and Remodeling after a recommendation from a friend of a friend. They had informed us Ed Lenzi and his crew were top notch and we have to agree. Right from the beginning of the project we knew this was going to be a different experience. Ed and his crew are extremely professional and polite...so polite that our neighbors even commented how nice they were. They showed up on time and always had a clean worksite (which we are sticklers for). They even noticed when I was on a work call when working from home and shut down power tools as not to be disruptive...without my asking. From the project kick-off to the closing meeting, Ed provided communication that kept us in the loop without surprise. He prepped us on each phase and gave us plenty of notice when decisions would need to be made. I'm a project manager by trade and was pleasantly surprised. Finally, the quality of the work was better than I expected. Really. We had a larger budget for this project and knew it would look good, but with Ed's advice we actually cut back on the budget and designed and even better layout. Our house was built in the 1920s and there is not a straight wall or line throughout. I'd heard this could be an issue, but Ed and his crew worked it so it looks perfect. I have no idea how they did it, but they did. And the best part, Ed's subcontractors are as good as he is. We worked with his plumber and granite company.

Ed came over to the house and gave the home a thorough lookthrough including the kitchen/bath and the electrical panels and basement. He educated us as new homeowners on what would be feasible and we appreciated that. We got the estimate from Ed and have not proceeded with any work yet, but the estimate seemed reasonable and we will consider him when we do go through with the remodel.

He's always on time, very clean, and his workmanship is outstanding.
