They came in and secured the corner beads, added tape then textured the ceiling to match the remaining kitchen ceiling and then put two coats of white paint on it. Charlie and his co-worker were punctual & professional. They quoted the job and were not the cheapest but based on our first meeting I was confident in their ability to do this job properly. They came in and did exactly what they said they would do and in the time frame with little to no mess. I would have no problem requesting Charlie's services again. Very professional!!

Awesome. I am very pleased with each of the painting jobs that Charlie and Richard have done for me. To date, they have painted two bathrooms, two bedrooms and a hallway, plus the front porch. He and Richard did excellent work. They were very professional, neat, and the painting job was perfect. In fact, they cleaned up after themselves every day and you would never know they had been here except for the excellent work in progress. They really know what they are doing and it shows. I have used them three times and have plans to use them again soon. In addition, I have recommended them to several friends who were also very pleased. Charlie and his crew came in to repair a large section of our kitchen ceiling that had been damaged and subsequently cut out due to a water leak above the ceiling. There were several drywall companies who did not even want to quote this job due to the swirl pattern on our ceiling. No one wanted to try to match it. Charlie repaired the ceiling, and matched the swirl pattern so perfectly that you truly can't see it even when you look for it! The final step after the repair of this project was painting the entire ceiling and we also opted to have the kitchen walls and all trim painted. The final outcome was flawless. Charlie handled every aspect of this job from start to finish expertly and professionally. Would highly recommend this company for both drywall ad painting.

It went very well. Charlie arrived at his scheduled time, took care to lay down tarps to protect rugs and wiped down the hardwood stairs as they left. He also took care a few additional issues with the walls at no extra cost. I'm very pleased with the end result.

It was on a Sunday morning in late October 2017. When we came downstairs to have breakfast and start the day. Our cat was looking up at the ceiling in the kitchen over the refrigerator, we looked up to see a very large area of the kitchen ceiling and leading into the living room. Large black droplets of water were was dripping down on the kitchen and wood floor of the living room seeping down from the upstairs bathroom all the way to the basement. Part of the ceiling had already fallen on to the floor. Water damage was on all three floors. Th insurance company called in emergency service to dry out the damaged areas on all floors. In the process they had to tear down the water damaged ceiling in the kitchen and living room, down to the studs. I searched for contractors to replace the drywall and spray on a acoustic popcorn. Several contractor came into access the damage and give a quote. No one had the experience to apply the acoustic popcorn. I found Charlie's "Drywall & Painting" on Angie's list. I haired him on the spot, after learning he had 36 years in the business and had the experience applying acoustic popcorn. Charlies and his crew showed up everyday on time. The crew came in laid down floor protection, and covered furniture in every room needing repairs. Charlie also accommodated us, by working with us when we had to move around the house with our daughter in a wheelchair.... Charlie and his crew were very professional kind and considerate. When I had questions, Charlie would give me an in depth and detailed explanations. At the end of every work day, Charlie and his crew cleaned up as if they had never been there. The job took four days to, tear down the old drywall, replace it, plaster, sea, spray on new acoustic popcorn, and paint the entire job. I know this is a little long winded, but you needed an idea of the extent of the damage and how Charlie's Drywall & Painting made my house look like new!!!. There are so many positive words that could describe Charlie's work, the best one would be Outstanding. His work is of the utmost Quality and is unsurpassed by any contractor's work that I have ever seen. We had our first floor ceilings redone to start off our kitchen remodeling project. All the popcorn texture was removed, seams showing through were repaired, old recess light fixture holes patched up and some improperly drywall corners repaired on our columns. It took his crew about 3 days to get the work done and it came out perfect. I inspected all his work looking for any issues so that he could fix before we settled up and I didn't find any. I couldn't believe how perfect everything came out, is this guy human?! At the end of each work day, there was hardly any mess left over. Charlie and his crew did an excellent job of cleaning up after themselves. One thing that helped was preparing the area for him so that all he has to do is come in and tackle the project. Charlie, we appreciate your dedication to PERFECTION and look forward to having you help us on our next project, the master bathroom. .

We received an immediate response from Charlie and he came out quickly to see the project. We were very impressed with his knowledge and experience about our type of ceilings where others were not sure how to repair them. We decided to have him remove the pattern on the ceilings and are thrilled with this decision. The transformation of our home is unbelievable. The ceilings went from being one of the worse features of the home to the best. We have definitely added value and it now has an updated crisp appearance. The walls are so smooth and the paint job looks gorgeous. We loved the result so much that we decided to have all of our ceilings done. Not only is Charlie talented at his craft but he is also a great person work with. He helped us move our project forward at a time when we were under a great deal of stress with all of the construction. I highly recommended him and his crew.

Crew arrived on time and got to work promptly each day. All work was done in a professional manner and we are very happy with the appearance of the new garage drywall and the repair around the shower stall. A significant amount of work was also done to repair defects on the existing garage drywall which exceeded our expectations and brought it up close to the quality of the new drywall. All of the drywall priming and painting work was done very neatly. The time estimate for our job was 3 to 4 days and it was completed in 3. We were very satisfied with our experience with Charlie and his crew.

Charlie and his crew did a great job. In nine days they patched multiple drywall problems and gave the interior of my home a brand new look. I had chosen some difficult colors, and to add to the challenge, had painted a wide range of samples all over the walls to help me decide. (Word to the wise--paint your samples on large white cardstock--just as effective, and mobile.) They worked till they got it right, even fixing some earlier problems I hadn't noticed. Thanks guys!

Charlie arrived right on time for the quote inspection. He was very friendly and offered very helpful suggestions. We had had other contractors come in and want to re-do the entire ceiling ("That's the only way to do it"). Charlie did not suggest that. In fact he suggest there was no need to do that. He could repair just the part that needed it and could match the "swirl" pattern already on the ceiling. And that's what he did. Perfect ceiling repair, perfect ceiling paint job, and perfectly painted walls. Since he (and most other good contractors) are booked fairly far in advance, the service date was set a ways out. Charlie called a couple of days in advance and let us know exactly what time he would show up. He showed up exactly on time. What he had predicted to be a 2 day job (which itself was impressive) was done in a day and a half. I have actually already recommended him to a co-worker and would heartily recommend him to anyone. We already have tentative plans for him to come back and do our kitchen!

Excellent, he was very busy, but he had an opening and was able to fit me in on very short notice, and everything he said he would do he did to a "T". I would highly recommend him for any one who is looking for any type of dry wall or paint.

Wow. Starting with visiting to quote on the two rooms through completion of the job, I was totally impressed and thrilled with the outcome. My friends thought I should hire a do it all handyman to save money, but I wanted this work "done right". And the result was like those TV commercials "Like it never happened". They took great care to protect the work areas, completed the work in less time than originally quoted, cleaned up everything and all I can say is hire this guy.

Excellently! Charlie & his workmen were very punctual & got right to work. They each knew what their job was & the work was expertly done. Amazing that the cutting & edging was done with a large brush & there was no paint on any other surface than where it was supposed to be. They cleaned up every day. They were polite, answered all my questions. Charlie recommended a color for 2 of my rooms that I would have never considered & it is gorgeous! Charlie had given me instructions for what he needed done before they arrived to work (furniture moved, pictures off walls, drapes down) & we did our homework. That made it so much easier for them to work efficiently. I have found the painter for all future jobs.

Charlie said it would take three days, it did. They were very professional their work habit was very professional and the room looks beautiful. We will be using them again in the Spring for 3 season room.

It went beautifully. Charlie shows up on time, works all day, and cleans up before he goes home. My basement looks great because he pays attention to details. He does what he says he is going to do.

We are totally pleased with the professional and detailed work Charlie and his crew performed. He listened to our concerns and made certain suggestions, some of which kept us from making unfortunate choices. He does the paint the proper way, with care to repair and then sand the walls first, to make sure the paint goes on a smooth, clean, flawless surface. He specializes in drywall and paint, but is very knowledgeable about other aspects of home care as well. He kept us informed about progress, next steps, and was understanding and cooperative even when we made a last minute change in a paint color. His entire crew was surprisingly quiet for the number of them working. They were all very pleasant, courteous, and neat, and showed that they respected our home. They took care to protect our furniture, appliances, and floors. Our job took about 2 weeks, but when they left each day, the work areas were clean and tidy and ready for the next day. It was a pleasure to work with them. When we need work like this in the future, Charlie will absolutely be the first one we call.

Charlie and his team are second to none. After purchasing a new home, one of the first items on my to do list was to repair and resurface the old popcorn (at least I thought it was popcorn) ceiling. After realizing the texture was created using a mixture of joint compound and ceiling paint, I decided to contact Charlie. Within hours of sending an email, Charlie responded and came out to provide an estimate that day. We agreed on a very reasonable price and Charlie and his team began work soon after. They arrived on time every day, and were both professional and courteous. Charlie and his team completely removed the old textured ceiling, replaced all angle tapes, resurfaced the ceilings with two coats of compound, and applied two coats of ceiling paint. The attention to detail and quality of workmanship was outstanding. In three days I had PERFECT ceilings. At the beginning of the process Charlie told me he could take my old ceilings and turn them from a 2 to a 7. My ceilings are a 10. I could not be happier. I recommend Charlie to anyone who needs any type of drywall work done. You will not be disappointed.
