Charlie and his assistant did a super job. He was on time, very professional and completed the job in no time. He also cleaned up all the mess like he was never there! I would defiantly recommend Charlie and in fact am having him come back to do some trim work and finish off the room.

Working with Charlie has been a great experience - starting with first time I contacted him via phone. We set up an appointment to get an estimate for our primary goal - the ceiling tape repaired. Charlie arrived on time, explained why the tape had come loose (and the explanation made sense - unlike others we had heard!), and explained what he would do to fix it. While Charlie was there, we mentioned we were considering also having the walls painted. He suggested that he give us 2 parts to the quote (one with just repair and one with both repair & painting) and let us decide from there. We had a detailed quote with in a couple days, and because it was a small job, Charlie was able to fit us in his schedule quickly which was important to us. We communicated via email about our color selections, and Charlie sent a reminder email a few days before they were going to arrive to do the work. Charlie and Richard arrived on time to start the job. Before starting the work, they put down dropcloths and plywood to protect our carpets, and they hung a barrier so that the rest of the house would not get dusty when they were doing the repair and sanding in the room! They finished the repair work on day one. Because we weren't there to talk to them when the left for the day, Charlie sent an email to let us know about the progress and that he'd be at the house at 7:30 the next morning. The painting was finished on day 2 and the morning of day 3.. and looks great! The work area was always neat - with no impact on the rest of the house. After they were done work, they even vacuumed the carpets to get up as much dust as possible. The vacuuming was a nice surprise - I certainly hadn't expected them to do that since they had been using dropclothes and plywood! One last thing to mention - I really appreciated that is it very easy to communicate with Charlie. We primarily communicated via email - and he always responded promptly to questions or when there wasn't a question, acknowledge that he got my email. Also, he was great about sending a status during the job if we had not talked in person. We are very happy that we chose Charlie's Drywall and Painting for our repair and painting work. We would definitely have them do more work in the future!!!

I contacted Charlie to fix a wall at my place of business that had been severely damaged by a leak. He came in and did an excellent job and the wall looks great. However the service didn't end there. This isn't just a normal leak as it as been an ongoing issue for 6+ years ever since an addition was put on. It is a point where the 2 roofs meet and the person that originally did the addition made a real mess of it. Since then I have had 5 or 6 different people in to look at and fix it and each time the problem wasn't solved and the same spot would start leaking again. Now I had the roof fixed again so I then called Charlie to fix up the wall. Now he could have come in and just done his job and fixed the wall no problem, but he went the extra mile to make sure this problem got solved before he did the wall. Even finding out what some of the issues were besides the roof itself. He then got in touch with another person who he highly thought of when it comes to fixing problems like this and the next day that person came by and we set a day for him to fix the problem. Now it looks like the issue is finally solved after all these years . Calling Charlie's Drywall and Painting was the best thing I could have done for this problem and Charlie is a true professional at what he does. As his slogan says and I will now follow. "Let the Pros Do it!"

This was a six week job. All work was done in a timely manner. The owner (Charlie) is hands on and did the work. There was no subcontracting nor did they leave to do other jobs. Living with contractors for six week could be very difficult but it was not.with Charlie and his right hand man (Rich). They were wonderful. It is nice to have contractors that are polite, respect your home and and have a sense of humor. By the time they left we felt we were saying goodbye to good friends.

Again my experience with Charlie was one where he understood the direction I was looking to go to gain an enclosed 35' x 12' space without compromising the integrity of the originality of the home. My personal concept was to be able to maintain the original pillars so that the enclosure would not look like an add-on - and Charlie made it happen. When wanting to bring unconventional glass block into the mix above double hung windows - Charlie worked his magic and fabricated prior to installation. When working on the original rehab of the home 2 years prior - Pick-wick Southern Pine Ceilings were installed. To continue this theme out into the new area - Charlie installed pine ceilings, a complimenting wall - and prior to - restructured and reinforced rafters to accommodate the building of hanging daybed. Again all work was started and completed on-time, attention to detail was given inside and out, communication was key and cleanup - well there was none! Again without reservation - I recommend Charlie for any of your home renovations.

From start to finish - Charlie communicated with me on the project. With the challenges due to the age of the house - he was upfront and honest about discussing areas that may be of concern and provided solutions to the problems. Even when experiencing a streak of a heat wave and summer storms - communication was key. End result - a perfect project completed! Big plus working with Charlie - Neat! Neat! Neat! He and his crew care about your investment... you don't have to worry about coming home after your long day to clean up after your contractor. That alone is huge! Without reservation I would highly recommend Charlie for any of your drywall, finish & painting needs. His experience speaks for itself.

Charlie was fantastic to work with. In November he came in to give us an estimate which we found very reasonable (another contractor had given us a bid almost $1500 more than Charlie's). When we accepted his estimate he gave us a work date in January and we were so pleased when there were no changes. Right before coming in, he emailed he would be there between 7:30 and 8 and he and his coworker were both there at 7:30. He said the job would take 3 days but instead it took only 2. The ceiling are now beautiful. We could not be more pleased!

Outstanding, very good service!!!!!

Charlie was helpful, responsive and professional. Did a good job and in fact reduced the quoted price when he found out that painting was not necessary.

Charlie came over to look at the job and he then emailed a quote which was accepted. the job was scheduled several weeks ahead, and he turned up on time, and completed the job as planned.
