The service didn't get the debris off which was the reason for the engagement. Contractor has a customer satisfaction claim on his web site and yet when called to address the remaining issues, he would not return.

They were a few dollars more than the others we contacted, but they were worth every penny. They called back quickly in response to my inquiry, they scheduled the work within a reasonable time, and they showed up exactly when they said they would. They went up on the roof of our ranch home and sprayed a chemical to get rid of the stuff growing up there. Then they wet down the house and sprayed some more stuff on the siding and trim. After a bit they washed that off. They were careful of the shrubbery and careful to move a couple of things we had forgotten to take away from next to the house. While they were doing the siding we could see the roof treatment foaming up in the gaps between the shingles. I had no idea how much stuff was growing there. He told me it would foam up again after drying out, during the next rain. It did. It has been several weeks now and we are delighted. Our 50-year-old siding came through unscathed, the roof is clean again, and now our home looks just like when it was freshly painted 8 years ago. P.S. Angie's List has no category for "Low-Pressure Exterior Cleaning", but I think they should add that.

Brian was very responsive to my emails inquiring about his services. He was not pushy when it came to booking an appointment. When the appointment was made he arrived on site at the time he said he would. He went over exactly what him and the other guy would be doing to the house and roof. He was done within two hours, and the house came out beautiful. He explained to us the process of what would happen with the chemicals on the roof and that it would take time to clean itself. He was extremely professional and effiecent of his time. He stands behind all his work and is honest with what actually needs to be done. It went very well. He responded to me very quick and I got the price all at the same time. He did a great job. Everything was good and he made sure everything was covered so he didn't hurt any of my plants. The chemical he used was great on the house.

The one thing I really liked about Winter was not having to look at my alge and rust stained roof coming home from work. It was either covered with snow or it was too dark out to see it. Then came Spring and there it was, ugly as sin. The sprawling brownish rust stain coming off the chimney was the worst. I decided enough was enough and I called a few of roof cleaning specialists. The first was strictly a high water pressure wash guy who couldn't guarantee he'd be able to get that rust stain out, and I heard that high pressure wasn't good for roof tiles anyway. The second was a low pressure guy who used a chemical process but he didn't do rust at all. The third was Brian Jackson, who did both algae and rust with a non-pressure chemical process that he said would eliminate the algae and rust on all of the roof tops on my property. He was only a couple hundred bucks more than the other guys who couldn't or wouldn't do the job, so I went with Brian. When I first met Brian I was very impressed. He started explaining his processes and the chemicals he would be using and I have to admit, most of what he was saying went right over my head. I'm an accountant, not a chemical engineer. He sounded like a person who had a doctorate in roof cleaning with all the five-syllable words he was using so I gave him the nod and he went right to work. That first day he was able to apply his process to take care of the algae and he did a first-coat attempt at getting out the rust, which had to be stuck to the roof tiles with Crazy Glue. He said we'd need a good rain before seeing the results. After that first rain I was utterly amazed at how clean the roof was all the way around. The only thing that didn't fully come out was the rust stain, and Brian had said he'd need to come out for a second shot at it since it was so imbedded in the tiles. Well he came back yesterday, and when I rounded the corner on my way home from work that huge blemish was history and the whole roof was the envy of the neighborhood I'm sure. Brian took special care to make sure none of the plants below the roof were harmed. He thoroughly cleaned them with a hose after every chemical application, and they all survived the ordeal nicely. This contractor is very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable and if you want your roof cleaned don't bother going to anyone else. This guy knows what he is doing, and your roof WILL BE CLEAN when he's done. And that's the bottom line.
