Collins Tree Service has completed 3 different tree service contracts for us over the past year+. Each of the crews on the different days were consistently excellent, highly skilled, friendly, and polite. They also took great care to avoid damage to the landscaping as much as possible.

The team were punctual, courteous, and worked quickly. Also took the time to clean up after job was done. It was like they were never there when done. I will hire this company again in the future.

Cost was high for 45 minutes of work.

I have entered the previous entry for Collins Tree Service on 5-5-2018 Brian C I meet with Bill today after I emailed him and he was a true businessman. We talked and came to and very good understanding of what work was done and what I misunderstood. He was a true gentleman and I can not say enough good things about a owner who takes time to meet and discuss my issues from work done on April 2018. I would absolutely recommend Bill as the best business owner and tree removal business Thank you Bill for your work ( we even took time to look at the lawn I am redoing before he left.) I was very happy with Collins Tree Service. From start to finish it was easy process. First appointment: Mr Collins showed up on time, was respectful of my concerns, answered all my questions and promptly sent a quote. Collins prices were comparable to other companies. I chose Collins because it was clear he was on his game as business owner and that I would be able to schedule a date when work would be done. Other companies gave me the "we will call you when we can send a crew" but this would not work for me as I needed to be here on-site when work was done as some of the trees were partly owned by neighbors. Bill listened to my concerns and put me on the schedule on one of my days off. Granted it was several weeks out but it was a date that was perfect for me and I greatly appreciated that. I understood that if it rained, we would have to reschedule but for me, being able to set a date was very important. The day of the work, the 3 men who showed up were good-natured, courteous and clearly competent. They arrived right on time, the foreman met with me to review the details and discuss set up and while not required, I appreciate that they took a few minutes to say hello to my shy dog so she would be more at ease with them on the property. While work was being done, they worked efficiently and clearly were adhering to safety standards and I had zero concerns for safety, theirs and that of my neighbors and my property, while they were here. I had 3 larger trees taken down, one that was hard to get too, 3 smaller trees and a bunch of shrubs were removed from foundation. They also trimmed a spruce tree that was overhanging my roof and my neighbor was very satisfied that they took what was necessary to prevent damage to my roof but did not take so much to harm his tree or make it look awful. After they left, all the loose limbs and debris had been removed from the lawn and actually my driveway was much cleaner then before they started. I have worked with many many contractors over the years and the experience with Collins tree service, with owner and with his crew, was textbook in what a positive experience with contractor should be! I have already recommended them without hesitation to 3 of my neighbors.

Awesome !!! This was one of the most professional, friendly, and diligent companies that we have ever hired. Bill (owner) called me immediately and set up an estimate followed by an appointment to remove the tree. The group was extremely professional, accurate and friendly....it was a joy to watch the operation as they were so in sync with each other. The clean-up was more than we ever could have expected. I highly recommend Collins Tree Service, and will use their services again.

Collins was one of the few companies that showed up and provided me with an estimate. Pricing was extremely fair. Although I did not choose Collins to complete the work on my property, they were reliable, responsive and provided work estimates as and when promised.

This review is for a service provided roughly a year ago so my memory may be a little fuzzy. Bill was easy enough to work with, and his crew was very prompt, friendly, and professional. They went to town on my property that was full of 40-60 foot trees and brought down around 10-12 of them. The only thing I really remember was was the speed at which his arborist was able to shimmy up the trees and get to work.

It took a while to determine how to remove the tree because it was in an inaccessible location on my property. With cooperation from my neighbors, the tree was removed by a crane situated in my neighbor's driveway. Once the crane was in place, the tree was removed quickly and clean-up was excellent.

The workers were careful of my property and the creatures that made the trees their home. They were polite, strong as bulls and easy on the eyes ;>}

I was very pleased with it. They did a very professional job. They did what they said they were going to do. The only problem I had, there was a problem with the billing but it was just a mistake. It was rectified quickly. Scheduling was fine. They contacted me fairly quickly and they were able to work within my requirements. If others could get a similar deal, it would be great. If you need to pay them their retail prices, they are a little on a pricey side because I did have them give me an estimate for some other work. I would consider using them again. I would get an estimate from them.

We need a general trimming and shaping of the trees and shrubs on our property. A team of four was at the house for about 4-5 hours. They described the work they were doing and proceeded to cut back and shape everything. The growth was so intense over the summer that I couldn't imagine tackling this job ourselves without falling off a ladder. The team tackled large tree branches that were threatening the side of the house and trimmed back all of the hedges, too. When I got home from work, I was pleasantly surprised to notice that there was nothing to clean up on the lawn. The staff had cleared out all branches and leaves from the project areas. We were very impressed and will have them back annually for this type of work.

Showed up promptly. They had already been recommended by a local garden center, and I see why!

I was going to purchase their "deal" through this service but decided to email them 1st. Even though it said they serviced Manchester-Nashua I was told they don't service Nashua.

This is not the first time we have called on Collins Tree Service. Over the past ten years or so we have called with questions/requests for pruning, tree removal, etc. No matter how small the job, Bill Collins has come out to look at the job and give his expert opinion, often times resulting in a recommendation such as not to prune yet, give it another year; or not to remove trees because in later years we would regret cutting them down....(and sure enough, in later years, we were so thankful we kept those trees!). His recommendations saved us from spending money unnecessarily. In addition, Bill did not even charge us for these visits and his time. These experiences alone are a tribute not only to Bill's expert knowledge of trees but also to his impeccable honesty and professionalism. Also, the work that Collins Tree Service has completed for us over the past several years such as pruning and large branch removal was done expediently, with thorough clean-up and absolutely no damage to the surrounding areas. We highly recommend Collins Tree Service to anyone who wants excellent results. It is truly a pleasure to do business with Bill Collins and Collins Tree Service.

I have used Collins Tree Service two times now, and they are fantastic. We had them remove 10 trees on our first project. The work was done in one day, and everything was cleaned up afterward so you wouldn't even know they were here with the exception of all trees being gone. The most recent project was to prune a beautiful Maple tree in our front yard. The results were perfect. The tree looks so much healthier and beautifully shaped. If you need any tree work done Collins Tree Service is the company to hire.

Collins is too far away and I would have to pay for travel time - doesn't make the deal worth it.

the president of the company came by with a estimate...he matched the price of another estimate that I had and was a lot more personable so I hired him immediately. his crew did an amazing job over a 2 day period...they cut the trees right to the ground and left very little stump..they did an excellent job cleaning up when finished.

Although I've used him in the past (to remove large tree limbs due to storm damage many years ago) I found him to be too pricey. Since he would need to use a crane to go over the top of the house to access the tree, that drove up the cost. Generally speaking crane rentals run them $1,000+ if they don't down one. Decided to keep the tree for at least another season or so, |In the past, the quality of Collins Tree service was excellent. Has a great reputation locally. Well established.

The work itself was excellent. They came when expected and I did not have to be there.They trimmed the three trees as requested and cleaned up everything. I would never have known they had come except the trees had been thinned out and back. Mr. Collins had come to look at the trees and answered a few other questions I had about other trees. He was very professional and knowledgable. The only issue I had with the company is that it took some time for him to get back to me, come to see the trees, and set up and appointment. The man needs a secretary! I understand he was very busy but I almost gave up and called someone else.Glad I didn't now. I would recommend him just be prepared for a bit of a wait.

Over the years (30+) Collins Tree Service has been the only company we have used to maintain our yard. Be it tree removal, pruning, or spraying the team has always had my best interest. Bill always takes the time to listen and then offer solutions. He has never let us down.
