S & J Landscaping

As always, it couldn't have gone better. We hired them first to do honeysuckle removal and liked them so much that we ask them to take care of the landscaping that we don't have time to do on our own. They are our primary landscapers, doing Fall and Spring clean-up that consists of dethatching, aerating, fertilizing and liming, leaf raking and first and final mowing. They removed a heavy infestation of honeysuckles from a large wooded area and continue to keep it clear of new growth. The are extremely nice to work with, and are accommodating, careful and thorough. It is always such a pleasure to return home to find the approximately one acre yard looking perfectly groomed. The only problem is that they are often booked up and that, combined with bad weather, can make wait times rather long.

We used them last year and they are coming again this week. They charge by the hour. They are amazing but it stinks that they can’t come when there is crummy weather. Punctuality can be a problem; they were supposed to come last week but it rained so they couldn’t come. That isn’t particular to them, that is just the nature of their business.
