Description of Work: Bob Doane and his crew transformed the slope under my deck from an erosional mess into a beautiful, functional walkway and set of retaining walls. Bob met with me several times to brainstorm ideas, walk me through what he was thinking, and help me select materials at a nearby landscaper's store. He provided one detailed estimate, then a revised one when we decided upon a different design. He was professional, knowledgable, punctual, and went above and beyond with his time to ensure that I was getting what I wanted and what would actually provide the function I needed - I ask a lot of questions and he explained everything with patience! He regraded and put loam down afterwards on the areas where the bobcat had made grooves in my lawn; he and his crew also tidied up every day. His measurements and design were PERFECT, and I absolutely love the finished result. I am a perfectionist, and it is rare for someone to exceed my expectations, but Bob Doane absolutely did, and I would recommend him highly!

+ -1 moreIt went great. He and his crew were prompt, professional and courteous. They worked steadily and took appropriate breaks throughout the day. They showed good knowledge of the plants and instructed me in how to take care of them, particularly the ones replanted. They built my bluestone patio two years ago and did an awesome job with that, as well.
Description of Work: Cleaned out flower beds around the house, mulched all the beds, dug out and replanted 3 bushes, trimmed bushes
