It was a terrible experience overall and the paint began to peel within 3 months. The paint used was Sherwin-Williams top of the line paint so that was not the issue. The painter/owner of the company was erratic in terms of behavior and communication. He was full of anger. He did have an excellent young man who worked for him, thankfully. Had that person not been on board I have no idea how things could have gone, much worse if that's possible. He broke a large window and denied it. He slammed my garage door opener around when he broke the chain drive and was too frustrated to fix it (I fixed it later after telling him to just leave it alone and carry on) He did not follow through with promises such as "I'll vacuum/dust off the whole place before beginning the painting, I'll not overspray ...." He underestimated on all of the paint and I had to return to the paint store 3x to get more paint. It was a very stressful experience and an insult in terms of both performance and product. Very hot tempered.

Response from CLARK PAINTING
To whom it may concern: I’m sorry she feels that way. I did a high quality paint job for her and stand behind my work 100% The large window she spoke of was a $9 small 12 inch pane of glass not a large window. I offered to replace it, she denied. I have an email to prove it. The pane of glass cracked because her garage door opener was not properly installed and it came disengaged. She insisted on fixing it and emailed me to let me know she fix it easily. She must of done that a few times. Again I have that email too. As for the paint. I usually include the paint. She insisted on purchasing the paint. It was a custom color, $70 a gallon and I didn’t want her to buy too much. The siding absorbed much more paint then I expected. We pride ourselves on quality work and I did vacuum, rake and clean up as much paint chips as I could. The job was a $2800.00 labor not $6000.00 as she stated. I stand behind all my work 100% She is asking for $500.00 back which is very unreasonable. I am willing to repair the $9.00 glass pane to the garage door and touch up any peeling paint, which I question there is. P.S. It was a $3,000 job not $6,000.00
