bathtub refinishing
 + -1 moreHe did a great job of making the tub look like new again. The color matches perfectly and visible defects have vanished. He was very friendly, polite and professional, walking us through the process and showing us how it was going at each step. The cost was within the range of the estimate, and less than what other companies said they would charge. For anyone having this service performed for the first time I would recommend using a mask or HEPA filter because the dust produced smells really bad and can irritate the respiratory tract.
Description of Work: Removed all the blisters and related chips and cracks from the bottom of our fiberglass tub

Description of Work: Our fiberglass tub/shower enclosure was in need or replacement or refurbishing. We chose to try K and R Fiberglass, Inc., to see if we could save what we have because of expense, plus the fact that the slate bathroom and hall floor would have had to also be replaced in the process. Ken, the owner, was prompt, brought everything he needed for the job, sanded, patched, buffed, and at the end of a very long day, the tub looked like brand new! He drove over 2 hours each way, was courteous, left the place clean, and our total bill was $550, a fraction of what it would have cost to replace the unit! We figure it would have cost $2500 for replacement, including installation. We are thrilled to have discovered him, and would gladly recommend this small 5 star company.

We specialize in the repair/reinforcement of whole bottoms, as well as create easy access cut-outs (making a tub/shower into a walk in stall). Pictures avail upon request.
We DO NOT repair porcelain covered cast iron , paint whole units, or change colors.
