Color Works

Ordered over 500 sq.ft. of tile, received printed Order Acknowledgment , left $200 deposit. Several weeks later, I received a call from the sales rep who stated they misquoted price and that the tile would cost $724 more! Rep stated they would split the cost of THEIR mistake and only charge me $362 extra. I pointed out to the rep what is printed on THEIR Order Acknowledgment ...... PRICING IS SUBJECT TO INDUSTRY INCREASES AND CANNOT BE GUARANTEED UNTIL ORDERED! I went to the store in person and contended that the tile WAS ordered and a deposit was given, therefore my price should have been guaranteed and honored. The sales rep held the position that I should pay for THEIR mistake. I told the sales rep I thought this was a lousy way to conduct business. I asked for, and received, my deposit back. Needless to say, I would never bring my business to Color Works again. Nor would ever recommend them to anyone.

The workers there were so very friendly and helpful, and bent over backwards to help us with our flooring and carpeting choices. They also gave us some tips and opinions on paint colors. They were very professional and knowledgable about all of their products. I would surely recommend them to anyone looking to purchase new carpeting, flooring or paint products.
