Kitchen remodel 2024 4/15/2024- 5/21/2024 From our very first meeting, during the design process and through the construction to completion, every person we came into contact with from Benchmark and various subcontractors were professional, polite, knowledgeable and friendly. Lee guided us step by step during the entire process of picking our cabinets, counters, flooring and the design of a custom cat area to accommodate a pet drinking fountain. Ian and his crew did an outstanding job installing the cabinets and the finish work. Any concerns we had were addressed timely and to our satisfaction. All subcontractors (floor, electric, plumbing, and counter tops) were excellent. Any concerns were addressed fully. When Lee and Ian say they want customers 100% satisfied, they mean it and it happens. Thank you Benchmark for our beautiful kitchen!

I can’t say enough about my experience with Benchmark Home Improvements! Lee and his son Ian were consummate professionals, exhibiting excellent communication and patience with us throughout the process of our stressful kitchen remodel. The timeline they gave us was “spot-on” and they were at our home every day until the job was completed perfectly and on schedule. They cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each day and pleasantly accommodated my two very curious dogs through the duration of our remodel. When I second guessed my choice of flooring, Lee and his wife went above and beyond on their own time to pick out some samples and set them aside at the store for me to look at. I went with one of their choices and I am so happy that I did as it looks amazing! This is truly a “family business” in the old-fashioned sense of the term, and that is hard to come by these days. They genuinely care about their craftsmanship and their clients, and they have a business based on integrity. I have to make special mention of Lee’s son, Ian, as he is mature beyond his years with skills to match it. I was beyond impressed with his expertise, execution and reliability. This young man exhibited a sense of principle and pride in his craft and was a pleasure to work with.

Ian and Lee did a great job with demo of our old kitchen and installation of our beautiful new cabinets. They kept everything clean and organized and were very respectful of our house and family, even considering social distancing, etc. during this crazy time. When the job was done we had a problem installing our refrigerator they were quick to return and creatively resolve the issue. We chose Benchmark Home Improvements for our cabinet remodel and couldn't be happier that we did! Lee took the time to invest in our vision, and presented us with options for just about every aspect of a cabinet remodel you could think of. He offered guidance toward achieving our vision but ultimately always left it up to us to make the decision. Feeling involved in the design went a long way toward helping us feel confident in moving forward with the project. When it came time to begin, Lee and Ian were extremely professional with regard to respecting everything going on with COVID19, which we were very appreciative of. Lee kept us in the loop with everything that was happening as the project moved along, and while the prospect of redoing your cabinets feels like a big decision to make, the final product that Lee and Ian presented us speaks for itself. Our expectations were high, but our new cabinets are truly stunning; better than we could have imagined. It changes the whole feel of our home! To say it was worth it would be an understatement. Went very well. Some unexpected details needed attention and were handled immediately and appropriately. Kept homeowner involved as needed and as desired, including granite and appliance delivery. Excellent communication between supervisor and Benchmark office and homeowner that developed into very good rapport. Very satisfied with the quality of the product and the quality of the work. My wife sings praises about her new kitchen. Appreciate the price break with this company for the cabinets and through this company for appliances and granite and special sink. Appreciate the advice about under-cabinet lighting, cabinet hardware, addition of granite backsplash and window sill.

Eddie and his crew did an excellent job. The laminated areas are smooth, and the doors are straight. The new dove-tailed drawers are beautiful!

I cannot say enough great things about BenchMark Home Improvements! I needed my kitchen remodeled and decided to give them a call based on the excellent reviews I had read about them and those previous reviewers did not steer me wrong. Lee is very personable and he really took his time explaining the services he offers and helped me decide on a plan to make my kitchen work for me. I decided to have my cabinets refaced, turn a closet into a great looking pantry and go with a custom built in microwave in my lower cabinets to make room for the chimney vent hood I wanted above my stove. I feel the price was great for the work I had done and the customer service and level of professionalism is second to none! A special thanks to Pete as well! His personable nature, professionalism, careful workmanship and attention to detail are greatly appreciated....and the pups thank you for the treats! :)

We had our cabinets refaced by Benchmark Home improvements this past summer. Our kitchen went from 1987 to 2016 in just about two weeks! We love it. Pete and Eddie are great, very professional and we were very impressed with their attention to detail. Some of our cabinets were uneven and had to be reconfigured, and they came out great. Our kitchen is bright, functional and beautiful with minimal disruption to our lives. We highly recommend Benchmark Home Improvements.

We recently had Benchmark come out to our home in Massachusetts and do custom cabinet doors. It was a great experience, start to finish. They offered very reasonable pricing and the staff was prompt (and courteous) about returning calls - even on a weekend! The installation crew was just as good. They went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the work.We would highly recommend Benchmark to anyone looking at home improvements.

Excellent work! Lee’s meticulous measurements proffered a professional outcome. His crew, Pete & Eddy were both courteous and skilled. Pete for his perfection on framing and Eddy for his attention to detail work on laminating. Thorough and deliberate craftsmanship all round.

My kitchen needed a face-lift and BenchMark Home Improvements came to the rescue with VERY reasonable price, and in a TIMELY manner. They are great to work with every step of the process, from designing, planning, and execution, and completion. Not a single detail was missed. The time they took to complete the whole job was amazingly on-time with no sacrifice on quality. Benchmark refaced our rental unit cabinets and it came out great! They had really good attention to detail too and came back to install higher quality drawer slides and a better drawer front (original cam in and inch too small).

We own the Lamb and Lion Inn in Barnstable on Cape Cod. Our inn has high marks all around from the guests, however our personal space was another story! Our kitchen overlooks the courtyard, pool & hot tub, and it's a lot of fun, but a linoleum & Formica meca! YIKES! We decided this winter it was time to take care of the innkeepers so a new kitchen was in order. However, there is no such thing as a millionaire B&B owner, so our budget was a huge issue. Lee and his wife Meoghan came to the inn and from that moment on it was a pleasure doing business with Benchmark. They are easy to work with, have great vision and really understand what a tight budget is. Rather than getting whacked with huge construction costs we were shown how we could simply re-face the existing ugliness, change what needed changing and simply hide what could be hidden. Lee came up with fantastic space saving ideas and he even saved our 2 kitchen islands, giving them a facelift instead of replacing them. At the end of it all, Lee and his caring & careful team left us with a kitchen we LOVE, and for much less money than we had originally imagined. We have much more storage space, and he even through in glass door cabinet with a motion night light (a great calling card--every time the light goes on we think of Lee--was this done on purpose? Hmmm...) On a more personal note we truly appreciated Lee's easy going personality, great sense of humor and communication skills. When he & his team were caught at another job that ran a week late he called us right away and kept us posted as to his timing during the small delay, which ended up to be shorter that expected. On Cape Cod we have a huge problem with workers showing up late, or not at all, and not hearing from them. It's torturous! Benchmark's professionalism made working with them something we would gladly do again in the future, if another project comes along. If anyone needs anymore praise than that to help them make up their minds please call us at the Lamb and Lion Inn!

We are very happy with our new look. We spend every summer in our lake house. The cabinets are over 50 years old and we didn't want to throw them out and start all over. Lee and his team were able to make them look like they were brand new. It really looks beautiful and we appreciate your hard work. As the owner of multiple apartment building, I use Benchmark regularly when renovating newly vacated apartments. To date, we have renovated 4 kitchens and 4 bathrooms with the help of Benchmark. Their staff are professional and easy to work with, and they are always able to squeeze in my projects in order to keep my turnaround time to a minimum. Benchmark has worked with me to keep renovation costs down which allows me to update out of date apartments while keeping rental costs reasonable. The apartments all look terrific when they are completed and prospective tenants alway comment on the beauty of the kitchen and bathroom. I like that their products are sturdy and hold up to use. I could not make it work without Benchmark and I am thrilled that I found this company.

Benchmark did a fantastic job on our kitchen update. We asked them to come on a short timeline to help us get out home ready for sale. The kitchen ended up being a major draw, and on the first day of accepting offers, we had 9 offers on our home.
