+ -1 moreWhen I called, the tech who answered the phone walked me through some troubleshooting steps to see if I could solve it before sending someone out. The tech was running behind schedule and was willing to come after the appointment time (which was after hours) and not charge me for overtime. He had the part on the truck and was fixed rather quickly and I was able to the refrigerator back up and running.
Description of Work: Replaced the temperature control unit in my refrigerator.

Description of Work: Repaired an older gas dryer which wasn't heating. They replaced a part and recommended that I replace the venting pipes to save money on the repair. Another part went and they returned and replaced the thermostat, but didn't charge the full "house call" fee due to recent visit. The dryer has been working perfectly since then.Very professional and helpful.

Description of Work: My gas range's oven was not keeping the right temperature and the burners were not keeping a consistent midrange flame. The provider performed diagnostics and found that the oven igniter was not drawing enough amperage to keep the oven to the right temperature. He replaced the igniter and then made adjustments to the burners.

Description of Work: Our clothes drier stopped working completely. They diagnosed the probable problem by phone - a fuse inside the drier. After making the repair successfully, he checked the drier ducts, and made some recommendations.

+ -1 moreI was asked a series of diagnosis questions on the phone, which all pointed to the fan having broken. When they got here as described on the phone, they didn't have the exact part they needed but they have jury rigged a fix so we can use the fridge and freezer again until the part is in. It took about a week and a half to get the parts, they came back and fitted the new fan and the fridge is working great. all in all a great experience.
Description of Work: Our fridge had failed and they managed to fit us in same day when I called them in the morning.

Gave window of arrival for both visits - arrived within window both times Informative - problem explained and alternatives discussed - not pressured into one solution Ordered part which arrived in a timely manner We had to reschedule - they accomodated the change with no fuss New part installed and tested - so far working OK Charges were discussed ahead of time, so no surprises I will use them again

Description of Work: From the minute Craig walked in our house we knew we were in good hands, he's a perfect gentleman and knows exactly what he's doing. Both Craig and his brother own this business, and again from the minute I called to the minute they left my home I was completely satisfied to include the price they charge me. Description of Work: Dryer stopped working after a power surge/outage. Explained the problem, what the dryer did & didn't do on first phone call. My guesstimate was a blown board. I wasn't here when repairman arrived but my spouse was. When I came in I saw the front off the dryer, the drum out etc. evidently he'd been checking door switches & other things for about 30-40 minutes. After I mentioned again that the panel wasn't lighting up properly & reminded him again of the power surge issue he called Maytag for technical assistance who then told him how to get the diagnostic code. (press a couple buttons for a trouble code) He had to call for tech help a second time. (not sure why) It seemed to me that it should have been a 10 minute job, get the diagnostic code from the panel, to determine what part/board was blown. (not necessary to take apart the dryer)
