Description of Work: Very frustrating experience with Mr Appliance, primarily with the management and how the business is run. Technician seemed professional and capable. We had a new LG washer die. LG sent Mr Appliance to provide the warranty service. Issues: 1) Long wait times to get an appointment. Waited 12 days for the first appointment, then waited for parts, then waited another 10 days for the first available appointment after the parts came in. 2) Both times the technician was at the house he was receiving messages from “his boss” telling him he had to leave and get on to the next appointment even though the job wasn’t done. That is extraordinarily frustrating as a client that has now waited nearly a month to get the tech on-site with the parts. 3) Technician was finally pressured to leave without confirming the washer worked. (Turns out it didn’t) When I contacted Mr Appliance because the washer still didn’t work, I was told I had to begin the warranty claim process over because Mr Appliance had already marked my case as resolved. I did this but now have to wait 11 days before a technician can return to (try to) complete the job they didn’t finish the first time. When I attempted to contact the owner/manager to discuss the issue I was told she would not take my call. Technician was friendly, on time, and seemed genuinely troubled that he could not stay to actually resolve our issue.

The price was fair. Good technicians. I was just very happy. Courteous and quick. I thought I had a different problem but it was a little less and I appreciate the honesty and it saved me a few dollars.

Never Again! Twice in two years they came to repair our newish Samsung freezer. First visit ($700) the coolant line was mistakenly crimped by the tech during the compressor replacement. We didn't know that until the next year's visit when the second tech showed us. He knew we shouldn't have been charged for it and reduced the fee to $300. So $1,000 spent and a year later the freezer does not work AGAIN so I called them and wanted to speak to a supervisor before I booked another diagnostic visit (quoted at $89 by the main office) I received a return call from the "local" franchisee and was told they only guarantee their work for 30 days and also the fee was $95 not $89. When questioned about it she haughtily told me that was their price and wouldn't honor the home office price. $6 really? The upshot from them is "tough luck for you". I called another repair place and was told to not put another penny into repairing the Samsung. She didn't want to waste my money by sending a tech out. Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY from Mr Appliance. The techs are nice but management is atrocious and customer service is nonexistent.

Everything went extremely smooth, the part was ordered and got a call and email when the part was in and they promptly made an appointment to get it fixed. Came on time and replaced the part. Everyone was extremely professional, thorough and courteous. I will continue to use Mr. Appliance and recommend them to everyone.

When we first called they came out very quickly (within a day or so). They did ask on the phone if it was a warranty issue and we said yes, then they still came out. Once they were here they ordered the fan part they said they needed, and charged us $150. Once we talked to LG about the warranty, Mr. Appliance said they couldn't go through LG since they didn't have the warranty number before the appointment (though they knew we wanted to go through the warranty.) While we were trying to figure that out it took a week for the fan to come in, and then another week for them to be able to come replace it. (At this point our refrigerator has not been working for 2+ weeks). The fan was replaced, and it did not fix the issue, though they didn't realize it. That afternoon we called and they said it would take another week for them to come out and see what the problem is. They came today and it's an issue with the board, so they need to order a piece and come out again to fix it. I assume it will be another 2 weeks. Not having a working refrigerator for a month is a HUGE issue, and then on top of it to be on the phone with both them and LG multiple times dealing with the warranty issue (and the two companies supposedly work together) is beyond frustrating. We will not be calling them for any more repairs.

Description of Work: Three jobs: | |1) Repair of wall oven door - did not close snugly. |Oven door required replacement of hinges. The hinges were ordered and, once they were in hand, the work went smoothly and was satisfactory. | |2) Range flames difficult to adjust accurately, and uneven among similar burners on the range top. The serviceman twiddled the knobs and fiddled with the flame adjustment screws, but achieved little improvement. | |3) Side by side refrigerator/freezer leaking water onto the floor. This was the big one and the one that generated the call. I had experienced this problem with a freezer in my previous home as a result of a frozen drain pipe. When the serviceman arrived I suggested that it might be a freeze-up in a drain pipe, but I didn't know where it was or how to access it. He rejected this suggestion out of hand because there was no water on the bottom floor of the freezer compartment, nor had I seen any. Instead he suggested that there might be a crack in the drain pan below the unit. We took it out of its niche in the cabinetry, turned it over, and removed what appeared to be a very old drain pan. He suggested there must be a small crack in it and ordered a new one. Coming back a few days later, we again pulled out the unit and turned it over while he installed the new drain pan. That evening, there was another puddle of water on the floor. I called him back, and this time he was willing to consider a frozen drain pipe. Working through the door of the freezer, he removed a panel on the back wall and sprayed something, warm water or an ice-melting solution, into the drain pipe. This took about 10 minutes, and it worked. There have been no troubles with leakage since. However I was out more than $150 for the new drain pan and perhaps an additional service call. | |That brings up another problem in that, though I received carbon copy receipts for the three separate problems - all with hand-written amounts - I do not recall receiving a final printed and itemized list of all of the charges for the total job. | |I do not plan to use this company again. |

Description of Work: Provider NEVER responded when called. When we called back and finally reached a live person, explaining that we never received a call back--we were RUDELY told "well we we were on vacation- you shouldn't have called us at that time"

Description of Work: The compressor on my refrigerator kept struggling to go on. The temperature on both the fridge and freezer was going up and down. When Mr.Appliance came and checked the compressor he found that there was a prong on a plug inside that was never plugged in. He plugged it in and it has been fine ever since. I was thankful I didnt have to buy a new refrigerator.

Description of Work: They fixed the door on my JennAir electric oven... I had it "fixed" 2 times before by another company. Mr. Appliance also repaired the burners on my JennAir gas cook top. I feel like they gave me excellent service and truly fixed the problems I had.

The appointment was made for mid-week, but I received a call in the afternoon on Monday and the scheduler asked if it was OK for the repairman to come this afternoon (2 days early!). I was happy for that! The service person, Dave, was professional and pleasant and quick to diagnose and fix the issue. I am new to the area and it is great that I found someone I can trust.
Description of Work: My husband left a wood screw in his pocket which during the drying, it became jammed between the tub of the dryer and the outside case. It had to be removed.

Tim arrived on time from Mr. Appliance of Rockingham Co. He was very polite, took his time to explain my options and the cost of repair. I chose NOT to have the work done - the repair cost would be more that the replacement cost ! However, I was very pleased, I highly recommend them and would have them back again when the need arises.
Description of Work: I called about my refigerator making the dreaded clicking noises. Tim came in and checked the compressor and other parts (sorry he gave me the names of all parts he was looking at but I'm not a Ms. fixit). He was able to hear the noise it was making he eliminated all by the compressor.

Our fridge died on a Friday and I thought for sure we would not be able to get service until the following week. I looked up service vendors on the Frigidaire website and then cross-referenced them on Angie's List. Mr. Appliance of Srafford and Rockingham was the only company that appeared on both. I called the office at 11am and was told they could have a tech at my home between 12pm-4pm. Tim the technician called me at around 3:30 and arrived at 4pm. He was very polite and professional, he had all the necessary parts in his van and had the thermostat and ice maker replaced in less than an hour. The service delivered by Mr. Appliance was excellent and I would highly recommend their work.
Description of Work: Replaced thermostat and ice maker in our Frigidaire Gallery refrigerator/freezer.

They diagnosed a problem that had stumped other repairmen. They ordered the weird parts needed, and replaced them within 4 days. Scheduling was easy, they confirmed a time range when the repairman would be here (2 hour range) then called when the guy was 15 minutes away. Fast, professional, and totally up front about costs, etc. Will use them again in a heartbeat.
Description of Work: Replaced a controller and drain assembly on a Bosch dishwasher--the diagnosis of which had stumped a different repairman.
