 + -1 moreExcellent, from the time of the phone call. I had called another service first and after a couple of days of not hearing back, I called E&E. Left a message and within the hour, they returned my call. I let them know I had an event planned for almost 100 people at my house for that weekend and asked if there was any way they could come before then (this was on a Tuesday). The woman I spoke to was VERY nice and accommodating and got me in within 2 days. They showed up as promised and took care of the job. Excellent service - highly recommend

 + -1 moreThe service was good, it was a normal septic pump down and they fixed a pipe that was causing the back up, so it was two services. Just one guy came out and he was friendly, courteous, and he identified the construction problem quickly. The sawed the pipe to the right size, and the extra charge for that was only $50, so I was pretty happy with that because it was a big problem for me. It took him an hour to do the work. The area was fine, he patched the grass afterwards. He did the best one can expect after a normal septic service. The price was pretty normal. They got out pretty quick after I called them.
Description of Work: I used Epping Septic. My septic system backed up because of construction going on and they came out and fixed it and pumped out my tank.

Description of Work: We are new to having a septic system. We have owned this home for approx. 1.5 years and after having a house full of guests thru the holidays, we thought we may be getting to limit (did not want to learn where that is the hard way). Called E & E and scheduled an empty. The gal then called me back immediately to ask if an emergency, which is was not. She then explained to me that after looking up my address, there may be difficulty getting truck to my home which is in a rural area. She was not wrong. My driveway has a very steep grade. There was a lot of winter weather going on. We agreed that I would find a time in which I could make sure and promise the driveway was bone dry. I called back with that date, and she then explained to me that they were now having trouble getting equipment to work properly in the extreme cold (the predicted weather for the date I knew I could be sure driveway was dry). She got back to me immediately with a working date that was even within a couple of days. The crew showed up on time, got the job done, and took the time to educate me on how and when this could be done easier and more cost effectively for me.

 + -1 moreWhen I contacted the company on Monday and described problem (wet soil above tank), they reacted appropriately and scheduled service for the next day. I used email for communications and they responded within 30 minutes of initial email. Due to the uncertain nature of what they find in systems they are servicing for the day, they specified a rather large service window (between 7:30 am and 3 pm). They came in late morning and were finished within an hour. They explained everything they were doing and showed me how the brine from back flushing my water conditioner was adversely affecting my system. They showed me how the filter had become clogged. They recommended a solution that I could do myself, although they offered to provide a quote if I want them to do the work. However, they did not pressure me and just advised me to get the work done before permanently damaging the system. I was very satisfifed with the service and the price appeared comparable with other prices posted on-line by others.
Description of Work: E&E removed the dirt and covers (two) from my septic tank, pumped out the 1250 gallons solids tank, partial pumpdown of the water side, cleaned the clogged filter, replaced the covers, and backfilled the hole.

 + -1 moreThey did the work right before Thanksgiving, and because we were headed into winter they didn't plant grass seed as in the quote (the state did seem to drag their heels for the approval). The area that had been dug has been a mud pit whenever it's above freezing. This area is adjacent to the back deck so it's unavoidable. I would have liked for them to put something down, even just a thin layer of hay. After I asked about it they did say they'd be out in the spring to put seed down.

 + -1 moreExcellent and prompt communication through email, service done the following day after the email. Price would have been 15 dollars less if cover had been uncovered before they came. Excellent job!
Description of Work: Septic tank cover was located, dug to uncover and septic tank was pumped. I also requested a quote for snowplowing and that was also done. I rated price as a B, but I honestly do not know what other companies charge.

 + -1 moreAll my house drains started backing up, and fearing for the worst, I called Epping Septic to come and clean out the tank.I figured it's a good place to start.Just two or three hours later, a 'honey wagon' showed up, with a knowledgeable and courteous operator. He was able to quickly determine that it was the inlet side of the septic tank that was clogged up, and it was probably because of a construction error. After cleaning out the tank, he went under my porch to access the inlet baffle.It was as he thought- the inlet pipe came into the tank too far, making it prone to clogging. The operator made quick work of the excess pipe.All in all, my septic is flowing again, and the problem is fixed for only $50 more than a regular clean out. That's a good deal, especially when I feared a $15,000 leech field replacement.
Description of Work: Septic tank vacuumed, jam cleared, and inlet pipe cut down to size.

 + -1 moreExcellent work!! They showed up on a cold Saturday morning and started digging. When they couldn't find the tank, they called their boss who came right down. He had pumped the tank last and even after 5 years he knew right where to dig. Good price and great service.

 + -1 moreThere was no charge for the location or uncovering the tank. The cost for the pumping was $245.00 with $10.00 off with a mailed coupon. The 2 man crew was quick and professional. The backfilling and sod replacement was well done. They left no signs of the work performed other than the cut marks in the replaced sod.
Description of Work: The company located and excavated the septic tank cover (12 to 18 inches deep), pumped the 1250 gallon tank and filled the hole and replaced the sod.
