BEAUTIFUL! On time and under budget! Charles' communication skills are excellent and exceed any others I've worked with in the contracting profession. This is so important for homeowners trying to stay within a budget, live in the home during renovation,as well as attempting to be the general contractor for the work being done. Charles went out of his way to make sure the tiles we were choosing were not only beautiful but also functional. He offered many samples that considered style, budget, the age of our home as well as future cleaning and maintenance. Our home was built in 1801, which can create obstacles not seen in new construction. Charles' experience and professionalism proved crucial to the projects success. Someone with less experience may not have accounted for the floors stability and leak potential for the steam shower. Another important thing to note is his tidy work space. Renovations are stressful for anyone but having a three and five year old with curious hands can make it dangerous as well. Charles cleaned and childproofed his work space the best he could at the end of each day. What a time saver! We couldn't be happier with the end result and will definitely hire Charles for any tiling projects in the future.

Charles the tile contractor, was punctual, attentive, responsive and extremely courteous. He listened to the customer and offered several alternatives. His workmanship was high in quality- A true professional.

I'm happy to say the renovations in my kitchen and bathrooms turned out much better than I hoped - I love the work! It all looks great. Originally, I had trouble coming up with a design (particularly for kitchen and the downstairs bath, which gets a lot of traffic when we have guests, etc). Thankfully, Mr Kearns has an excellent sense of design, and he worked with me to develop several options that I liked, incorporating color, materials I had chosen, and functional layout. I get compliments all the time on the tile work in the downstairs bathroom, which has a great inset with a design that echoes the color scheme of the room and ties everything together. My kitchen also looks fantastic - the backsplash has a unique design that he came up with, and after the great work in the bathrooms I trusted him to develop original plans for the kitchen. I'm not very good with design but I definitely have specific tastes, and he really worked with me & guided me through the process. Best of all, I estimated a budget of $50,000 and ended up spending around $40,000. That never happens!
