Marty came out and examined the situation and showed us how we could shut down the heat but that we needed to call a different electrician who specialized in heating systems. Even though he came out and helped us, he did not accept any payment, said that we were all set!

He is one of the most professional people I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. He was very prompt in returning phone calls/emails. Once he evaluated our job, we had an itemized written quote within 24hrs. Upon completion of the job we received an itemized summary of what work was performed. He was clean and communicative while he was working at the house. We are very happy with the suggestions he had and the quality of work he performed. We will enlist his help/expertise again as we work through the rest of our renovations.

Perfectly!! Marty is an exceptional electrician with tons of experience and mixes all this with marvelous customer service, communication and a very friendly demeanor. The capping off of the electrical socket was more complicated than first thought and needed a different plan of action. Marty solved the issue and completed all the work within two hours. Afterwards he insisted on cleaning up any left over debris in the living room and basement. Exceptional work and would highly recommend him to all who need electrical work done, I would certainly hire him again.

He is busy, so we had to wait for almost 3 weeks for an appointment, but the wait was worth it. The quality of his work exceeded my expectations. Marty is very professional, and communicates very well with hks customer.

I called Roberts Electric twice (calls were placed about 1 week apart). I never received a return call. It would have been nice to even receive a return call to tell me that they were too busy to handle my business. No response at all.

Literally let messages and did not receive the courtesy of a call back -- or acknowledgement. Too busy to respond to an inquiry. Too bad. We had a bunch of other projects to complete because we are remodeling / redoing our downstairs.

Marty did a great job! I have an historic home so some of the work was a little challenging, but Marty knew what to do with the old wiring and his solutions were practical, the least impacting on the house and cost-effective. He was always prompt, professional and courteous. When I needed him quickly for a repair, he arrived the same day to help me out. While installing the generator, he was great about working with the gas company and working his schedule to accommodate theirs. His work is top-notch and I highly recommend him. I will continue to use Marty for all my electrical needs.

Marty is a real pro. He attends to all details and clearly takes great pride in his work. Everything from the type of light (we went with a warmer 2700 light), to the size and positioning of the cans, Marty did a super job! He also put all items back after having to move some things to work and cleaned up perfectly. Marty's price was also less than a competing bid. We couldn't be more pleased and would hire him again in an instant for any future work.

Marty is very professional, reliable and gets the job done! I appreciated his attention to details, too. For example, he took the time to label new circuit breakers on the electrical panel, something other electricians in the past have left to me to figure out. Highly recommended!

Marty worked hard start to finish and accomplished everything we needed in 6 hours. He was particularly conscious and helpful with the placement of the pendant lights and the chandelier. The hook up for the lights was fairly simple. He had to go into the attic. The cable was another story. But Marty found a way. All the way from the basement to the second floor. He worked fast and neat. Like he wasn't even here.

Marty responded quickly to my initial inquiry, wrote up a quote, and arrived to do the work when he stated he would. He was fully professional, kept the areas clean, answered all of my questions, and as I mentioned he nicely did a few other tasks without charging for them. I feel that he charged fairly for his services. I had full confidence in his work and he was a pleasure to do business with. I would not hesitate to recommend him or to have him out to do more work in the future.

Changing the fixtures in our kitchen involved removing the original fixture, capping the hole in the ceiling and installing two new pendant lights over the island. This necessitated climbing on the island, cutting the ceiling and a lot of measuring back and forth to get the placement and height just right. He was very helpful with advice on height of the fixtures and placement so we would have the best spread of light coverage for the space and fixtures used. After the work was completed he cleaned up so thoroughly one would never know he'd been there. We thought he was totally professional and were very happy with his reasonable charges.

His written estimate and post work invoice were detailed and itemized...very professional and left no room for misunderstanding. His rates were extremely reasonable and his work impeccable.
