+ -1 moreVery professional, I called to have a smoke detector in kitchen changed because it was to sensitive. He put in a new one with an eye, and then told me all the others were out dated. I had him change them all. Was here no more than an hour, very diligent and the areas were left clean. Would never know he was here. Explained everything he was doing from room to room. I had no questions when he left. I have recommended him to my son and will to anyone else who needs an electrician. He was awesome and his pricing was extremely reasonable.

He sent me a fair quote within a day and when I added some additional work he was able to make modifications quickly. He did a great job - I would hire him again without hesitation.
Description of Work: I contracted Marty to check the current wiring in a stand alone shed that I was converting to a workshop. I also asked him to upgrade the wiring and add some additional circuits, sockets, and lights. A relatively small (<1 day) job.

I should highlight the answering question aspect as I had numerous questions (via several emails) on what types of products to buy etc. He always responded promptly and thoroughly to every inquiry. On the day of the work he showed up when he said he would and completed all the items quickly and professionally. This wasn't easy as my puppy became really attached to him. I would highly recommend Martin!!

He never followed through with scheduling nor contacting after the initial contact even though I reached out a couple of times. On time for every appointment, kept every appointment, responded quickly, concisely, accurately to our questions. Did not try to sell useless stuff or what he had "in stock", excellent matching of my needs with what was available. Did not try to sell a "package" that provided greatest profit for him. Used high quality materials and equipment for the installation. No hemming and hawing regarding whether he could do the work or not, or if he had the time to do it. Came promptly for estimates, in a relatively remote area. Pricing was excellent. Very neat, perfect cleanup afterwards. No "unavoidable" or collateral damage to property.

Description of Work: My wife and I recently moved into a 17-year-old condominium where considerable electrical work was needed to make it a "home". It's a long list of what "Marty" did for us, but here's a summary: He installed 3 new ceiling fans, installed wiring and fixtures for ceiling lights in rooms where there was no wiring nor fixtures, installed a special designedl configuration of recessed lighting fixtures for my wife's sewing area, moved a central heating thermostat to a more convenient location, ran wiring to a newly installed fireplace fan in our propane fireplace, replaced the old under-cabinet kitchen lighting with new LED lighting, put in new rheostats for the ceiling fans nd new light fixtures and rewired the electrical outlet for the propane stove we had purchased for the kitchen. There were also a number of little things that needed amending which Marty pointed out and repaired for us.
