Finally, an electrician that doesn't play games. One person operation with full accountability and a 'let's get it done' attitude. Good communication either through email, text or phone. I had a bucket list of items that I needed help with. I got ridiculous quotes from other electricians, $2200, $2600, $2500. Marty came by, looked at the job and had decided the best course of action what to just do Time and Materials at his hourly rate. It saved him from underestimating/overestimating and I could manage the costs fairly. Items completed: 1. Deck Post light caps: Caseta switch installation. Also diagnosing some incorrect connections (I had made incorrect connections previously). Wiring an incomplete LV wiring run to complete a 'missing' section of lights. 2. Under deck puck lights: 15 Amp box and 2nd Caseta switch installation powering puck lights 3. Troubleshooting Magnitude MLV Transformer (found bad caseta switch and worked with Lutron support to diagnose and get replacement) 4. Installed heat tape on troublesome (ice/snow) roof section I got everything done for roughly $600.00. (I bought all the materials in advance ~$100 worth and did some "brain dead" stuff myself (like running 14/2 UF wire through existing conduit). In any event, I was thrilled with T&M as was he. I believed I saved roughly $1500 by spending an hour or two myself and having Marty come in for the rest. I think I found my new 'go to' electrician in my area. Fair, honest and hard working.

Marty was awesome to work with. He came right out to give me an estimate and when I hired him, he was there within a week doing the work. As I was not home, he let me know when he arrived, communicated via text with preference questions and was immaculate. The work was excellent and I'm very happy with the way it came out. Marty is a professional and I would highly recommend him and I will use him again (I'm trying to convert two recessed lights in the kitchen with hanging lights, and I may be calling him sooner rather than later).

Marty explained what the job would entail and everything went exactly as planned. He worked around our schedule and completed the job on time..no delays. He even "cleaned up" some of the existing wiring so it was all neat and orderly which wasn't discussed but much appreciated.

Marty Robert was able to analyze and detect the errors in the multiple switches and lighting fixtures very expeditiously, and determined also that there was a faulty 100 amp main breaker connection from the Eversource meter. We couldn't be happier with Robert Electrical Services and the job that Marty Robert did for us. We had a very large job planned for him to do and he did it in a very efficient and professional manner. He went above and beyond, rewiring an entire multi-family home, taking down and replacing old fixtures, even being so kind as to lend us his own tools for something separate that we were working on. He was polite, friendly and very professional to myself along with my tenants. This was a huge job that took several months in unison with eversource. At the end of every day, he cleaned up and left things tidy. When there was a cheaper (and still up to code) way to do something, he would let me know and give me the pros and cons. I always went with his recommendation to take the best approach, but I still appreciate knowing I have options to save money without compromising safety. Based on my experience with Marty, I'll be returning to Robert Electrical Services for any electrical issues or questions I might have. Marty first established the outlets were receiving power, then located their common junction box fed by a line to the main switch box. The particular line was loose in its switch box seating, visibly burnt (due to arcing). He cleaned off the line and re-seated it to the switch box. Afterward, with my permission and a full explanation, he rewired the junction box. During the whole process Marty clearly explained each step and why he was doing it. Marty gets an a rating in my book.

Very well. Marty is obviously very experienced in generator installation. He explained the project in easy to understand steps and followed through with prompt quality work during each phase.

Very professional, clean and easy to work with. Marty dug a trench for underground wiring and gas line taking care to preserve and put back the landscaping in the path of the trench. Installed the panel for the critical service item identified and helped with finding those circuits on the current panel. Quoted several options that were helpful.
