Unfortunately he never called despite our request for him to contact us via phone. He stated in an email to us that he was at his computer in the morning before beginning his work day and that he limited to answering his phone during the work day unless he is on the road between projects and that "we should use the communication method that works best for us". I had asked him to contact my husband via phone those mornings he was on his computer as my husband is in the military and can be reached in the morning as he does not have access to a computer during the day. I had asked him twice to contact my husband and that my husband very much wanted to speak with him to schedule this work. I never heard back from him and my husband never received a call from him. He stated that he would communicate via the method that worked best for us yet failed to call us despite my emails asking him to do so. On his website he has a picture of a phone that is moving with his phone number right underneath it saying "Contact Us Today!". I am disappointed that he chose not to contact us after we put aside time and money to begin this project with him. I know email is a huge communication tool but if you tell a potential customer that you will contact them the best way that works for them - that is what you should do. I was willing to hire Mr. Robert and hand over our hard-earned money but since he could not pick up the phone to call us to schedule the work then we unfortunately will have to begin our search again for an electrician.

Marty is the only electrician we would use. He is always extremely prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. From the beginning of the project through to completion, Marty is always a professional. Pricing is extremely reasonable. Marty quickly diagnosed our problem, an overloaded heating circuit, and remedied the problem within two hours. We plan on using Marty for all of our electrical needs.

Everything went as planned. Mr Robert performed the work with a high degree of quality in a timely manner. He was very willing to explain in detail anything that he was doing or had done. He was very helpful explaining operation of the new equipment. He charged exactly what he quoted, no surprise fees. During the quote process he laid out all the options and let me decide which route to go, he did not push the most expensive option. Overall I am very pleased with the services provided and will be going through Mr. Robert with all electrical needs in the future.

Very well - the building that we live in is old and prersented a couple of challenges which were handled in stride and at no additional cost to us.

We met Marty about eight years ago when we needed a hot tub and ceiling fan wired up. When we wanted to add a generator hook-up to our home, we called Marty since he had done such a great job the last time and we've had no issues with his work since. He returned my call and he gave me two options that could be done and explained the pro's and con's of each. We scheduled a date to do the work and he arrived on time, did the job in a professional and neat manner and left the work area clean when he was done. He was also very polite and courteous and answered any questions that I had during the installation. The price quoted was what we paid, no extras or surprises, and the power outages to the home were short and minimal as he had promised. When he was done he took the time to make sure I went through the process of changing over to generator power and left me written instructions as well. It made me comfortable to know that it not only worked, but also just as important, that I've done it before when the time comes that I need it! From our experience, we consider Marty to be a very competent professional and he does great work for a fair price. We would recommend his services to anyone and will be calling him first for any future project.

Marty was excellent to work with. He was extremely professional, courteous, and diligent with his work He took the time to answer any questions, explain things in understandable terms, and was extremely professional - taking the time to write out and email a well detailed invoice outlining all the work that was performed. I only wish I had known of him for some earlier projects. I would highly recommend him for all your electrical needs.

Great! He was easy to schedule, and came out right when he said he would. Total service took right around 2 hours, exactly as he said. Very nice guy who does quality work. I'd definitely use him again.

I found Marty's name on Angie's List and called him for an estimate on several jobs I needed done. He stopped by on 8/31. He was punctual and very personable. He listened carefully, offered suggestions and solutions, and sent me an estimate via email later that day. He said that he should be able to do the work in about a two week time frame and kept in touch. We worked out a convenient time for both of us and he returned on 9/20. On that day he installed the ceiling fan and did an excellent job. He obviously takes pride in his work, which is reflected in the results. He found a way to do the wiring which only required cutting a small hole on the inside of a closet which he neatly patched. He completed the work in the basement satisfactorily and also took a look at the exhaust fan in the bathroom. He determined that only the motor needed to be replaced, which saved me the cost of buying a whole new unit. He sent me an email note that same night saying that it would take about ten days for the motor to arrive and he would be back promptly at that time to install it. I was very pleased that he had ordered the part so quickly. I was also pleased to find out that the motor arrived sooner than anticipated and Marty returned on 10/1 to install it. Once again he did an excellent job and cleaned up thoroughly when he was done. He also took a look at the problematic ceiling fan in the kitchen and although he could not find a specific cause for the problem I was having, he did do a few things that might resolve it and so far it has been fine. Marty was a pleasure to do business with. He explains everything very well, provides excellent documentation on what he plans to do along with cost, and the cost ended up being exactly what he stated. I will definitely call him again whenever I need an electrician!

Excellent. When I contacted Marty by email he got right back to me and set up an appt to provide an estimate. Once we agreed on the job he returned two weeks later to complete the requested items. He was pleasant and made every effort to make sure he did not disturb the rest of the household. Marty cleaned up each area he worked in and made sure we were satisfied with the job. I would certainly use his services again.

Marty was excellent at all stages of the process. He arrived as scheduled for an initial look at the work. He discussed options with me and was a great help in deciding what the scope of the work should be. I had a detailed estimate in my email within just a few days later. He again arrived as scheduled to perform the job; he answered all my questions and clearly pointed out exactly what he was doing at every step of the way. The work was neat and organized, and the work area was left clean upon his completion.

I contacted Marty to do work at my son's house in NH. He contacted my son and set up an appointment. He arrived on time and did the job quickly and inexpensive. After he left my son's house he called me and let me know everything he did. He then emailed me my invoice. I was very pleased and impressed! Thank you Marty! PS- you really should use Robert Electrical Services for all your electrical needs!

This was undoubtedly the best contractor experience we have ever had. Marty was reasonably priced, prompt, responsive, flexible, professional, and cleaned up after himself so you didn't even know he was there. His price on the generator was less than the local generator specialists. He took care of everything, including the underground electrical, coordinating the underground propane, and all the permits and inspections. It was completely worry-free for us. His inside work was great. We were impressed that he left NO mess behind. And he was flexible, so that when we changed our mind about something it wasn't an automatic extra charge. He was always on time, and always did what he said he would do when he said he would do it. You can't ask for anything better! The best part is the generator. We lost power last week....lights go out...count to 15 and they're back on. Sweet!

My tenant complained that she had lost power to several appliances and the breakers were tripped. Robert was able to come out the next day to check everything. He was prompt and very thorough. He check the sub-panel, panel, and outside meter. He corrected a light fixture wiring, changed out a outlet. He determined the cause and called public service to have them address the problem. I couldn't have asked for anything more. This is the first time I used Robert Electrical Services. I found his name on Angie's list and I will definitely call him in the future.

He is prompt, does good work and reasonably priced. We also trust him to do work when we aren't there. I have been using for 7 years and he is the only electrician I will use.

He always is very professional, has great ideas for lighting configurations, layout designs and where to put switches for the most convenience. He is always conscientious and fast, and I would never hesitate to recommend him, as I do to all my friends, and whenever I think someone may need an electrician.
