Company was very good to work with. Great with communication. Needed the job done quite fast and they were able to squeeze me in to get it done for when I needed it.

Tim and his team were fantastic. We planned for a significant renovation including several structural elements, carpentry, electrical, and siding and Horsman Builders delivered. Tim was a reliable communicator and addressed our questions in a timely manner. We replaced an entire roof, added walls, doorways, re-did a deck and covered porch, replaced doors, replaced siding, and added new outlets- to name a few. We felt like we could really trust Tim and plan to work with him again in the future.

I would not hesitate for a second hiring Horsman Builders for any of my house projects or remodel, in fact that is what I will do from now on. I was nervous starting a project having to handle things on my own but Tim made me comfortable with a detailed estimate, answered all my questions, kept me informed about the work, the site was always clean and the result is awesome, my neighbor was commenting on how great it is just checking it out from a window. Fair price, excellent quality and great customer service. A+

Tim and his crew are amazing. They built me an awesome deck!! From the beginning of the project to end I was thoroughly impressed. His quote was timely and fair. I’ve heard of so many horror stories about contractors so i was so pleasantly surprised at how great this experience was. The work began quickly and the workmanship is incredible. These guys know what they’re doing. Tim is so professional. He is prompt, he communicates everything in detail and really pays attention to detail in the work. He’s also a really nice guy. His crew is polite and work so hard. They’d get here and never stop working. Maybe 5 minutes to eat a sandwich. I plan to hire Tim for future projects. No question about it! Highly recommend.

Great Tim gave us a fair estimate and stuck to it. Crew was friendly, reliable and neat. The job was done well and the deck looks great. It is exactly what we wanted.

Never Heard From

Had ikea shelves that I wanted to look like built in shelving for library - finished using my book shelves, secured to wall and finished with crown molding .

When you find a great contractor, don’t let them go. ;). I hired Tim to build a screen porch under my deck but added several projects as I recognized the high quality of work and attention to detail from his crew. In addition to the screen porch, they built a deck extension - so nice that I decided to have them replace the existing deck, installed a basement slider and replaced the door, installed a new fence and built a shed. Tim was responsive, open, honest and receptive of my requests and additions during the project. Great experience working with Tim and his crew: Dan, Brian, Eddie and Ben. Great job on all the work - I’ve received many compliments from neighbors and guests on the work you did! I can’t recommend Tim and his crew enough.

Horsman Builders employees are all top shelf. They are all extremely polite and their work is of the highest caliber. The schedule of work was always clear, everyone consistently showed up on time, and they went out of their way to make sure that job site was not just clean but SPOTLESS after each day of work. This was especially important to me considering I have children and I never even had to ask. Furthermore, during the initial work, a storm sent a tree into the side of my house causing mostly cosmetic damage and they were able to repair all of it rapidly which was a tremendous relief to me. Finally, the owner, Tim, is painfully honest about every aspect of the job. He was able to offer perspective and ideas that shaped the project. He is very responsive and a pleasure to deal with and I recommend Tim without hesitation.

Tim was fantastic. We live out of state and we felt so comfortable and confident that he and his staff could handle the whole house renovations. Tim went above and beyond his role of contractor. He understood the issues that we needed to get the house in shape and quickly to get it sold. We would not hesitate to hire him again.

Tim and his crew have done 3 projects for us: converting an existing deck into a 3-season sun-room, building a brand new deck, converting an unused closet into a sauna. We could not be happier with the results. The guys do quality work, with attention of every detail. They do not take shortcuts. On a personal level, a great group of guys, who work hard and get satisfaction from doing great work. I would be happy to recommend Tim and his crew without any hesitation.

Tim Horsman is a pro, plain and simple. He was very quick to respond, easy to discuss the scope of the job with, flexible when I changed the requirements on him, fair and open with the way that he prices his work, and he followed through on everything to make sure that I was happy with the outcome. Tim showed up on time, used a drop cloth everywhere that he worked, and his pride in his workmanship is obvious. I would not hesitate to invite Tim into my home again and I recommend him without qualification.

Job went on forever did not show most of the time. Payed contractor from that point worked halted and job was never finished. Workmanship is the worst I ever seen.

It worked out great for us. We would recommend him.
