They did a superb job, always communicating any options that we might have had (do you like it like this, or like that...?), resolved 1 or 2 minor things that popped up, and really had a high level of quality workmanship throughout. In fact, I even overheard one of the workers saying that he had to re-do a little section, and he might as well do it now or Randy would make him do it later!

NO SHOW!!

I have to agree with the most recent reviewer. I recently called the phone # listed I got an answeing machine with no mention of the company name. I left a message on Friday, 4.5, and did not receive a return call. I wasn't even sure if I reached the right company. I decided to call again yesterday to give them another chance to respond...same message and same results. Very disappointing and very unprofessional.

Small job, but handled very professionally. Very good work.

It is a long road from imagination to creation. The dream changes, is reformed and prioritized. An elimination process finds you abandoning some of the original ideas in order to pursue ideas that weren't even on the original list. A whirlwind of ideas and a flurry of activity. In our case, the re-creation of our Tuftonboro home is the largest project we have ever undertaken. We were courageous, timid, confused, confident and in a hurry. Once the dream is formed, it seems as though you have been waiting forever. Because we were so impressed with the work Randy had done for friends of ours, we knew he was the contractor we wanted to work with. We relied on his expertise at so many junctions, and were never disappointed. He was patient and understanding and a fine instructor. His personal goal of excellence was our reward. We didn’t make it easy. For nine months we were in constant communication. It was impossible for us to foresee all the pitfalls, just as he could not anticipate the many upgrades and additions we requested. His work speaks for itself. Our home was crafted by a man who expects everything within his control to be perfect! What more could a customer want? His attention to detail speaks to the talent and vision of the man. Our time lines may not have been in complete synchronization, but it is the quality of the man that will surround us for years to come. Almost six years later we are still thrilled with everything that Randy did. There have been no issues. We have received many compliments on the work that was done and anxiously await the day that it will be our year-round home. As a bonus - last fall, after Hurricane Sandy, I got a call - Randy was in the area and, knowing that we were not, had checked on our house. He wanted us to know that all was well. I consider myself very lucky to have worked with Randy.

Guy seemed nice enough, but if I have to chase someone for a quote. I could assume I'd have to chase when it's important.

Randy is top notch, the only grade I did not give him an A was price. He most likly will not be the cheapest but he is the best for the what you get. I have had no problem on any of my projects.

We liked Randy from the moment we met him. He was referred to us by friends, for whom he had built a beautiful home. At the time of our biggest project with Randy, we were living 2 hours from where the work was being done. The project was both exciting and daunting - the largest we had ever undertaken. Although we were not on site we were in constant contact. We knew what was happening and we knew that he was protecting our home in our absence. When we physically checked in we were always pleased with what we found. If anything, the project was further along then we expected and, no matter what day of the week, Randy always made a point to be there to answer any questions we might have. I will speak in the present tense as I expect our relationship with Randy to be ongoing. His work speaks for itself, his carpentry skills are outstanding, his attention to detail is key - nothing is overlooked. We rely on Randy's expertise and he has never disappointed us. Randy's personal goal is excellence - and he achieves it. When you work with a man who seeks perfection, how can you be disappointed. The most difficult part for me was when Randy was no longer there everyday. There are always things we'd like to have done - and Randy will always be the man we ask to do them.

I'm sure Randy will do great work for you on an addition or a new home… but, don't over look him on the smaller jobs. We had Randy in this year to install some new doors. We had not asked him to do these small jobs in the past thinking he only did the big stuff. I wish we had brought him in on other work we've done over the years. Randy is a professional… he doesn't waste your time, he provides creative options, his estimate was accurate, his work perfect; clean up… everything all good.

We met Randy a few years ago when our home NEEDED a ton of work done on it. See the information above. He came in and provided us a complete and accurate estimate of all the repairs. Over the last few years he has been remodeling our home. His work is above excellent. He is very good at what he does. He is a perfectionist when it comes to his work. He can do anything that you want him to do. If he cannot do it himself, he knows quality people that can. He always says to me "There is nothing I can't fix." He is right. Frequently, we have neighbors that comment on how great our house looks now. We have many more projects that need to be done and you guessed it Randy is the one that is going to do it. He loves what he does and we love what his work looks like when he is done. You cannot go wrong with Randy.
