This provider seemed to expect payment in advance as I was invoiced before any work was done. Upon contact they said they would accept payment upon services rendered. They did come and cut the grass ahead of scheduled date. They did not do cleanup on scheduled date and asked for another couple hundred as the job was thought to be bigger than originally quoted and I said fine. Then the job was not done on the scheduled date because of other prepaid jobs. I had surgery and finally heard from them 10 days later that now they wanted to put off the cleanup till fall. As they had already been paid for the lawn cutting they did, I fired them for any further work. A pity really, as if they had been professional, I had much more work. As they demonstrated a lack of interest in my custom, they will go on my do-not-hire list.

Turf detail gave me date ranges on when they would come to do my fall clean up between October - November 2016, and they did not come and did not notify me each time until I followed up. I was told that I would be first on their list a couple of times in the spring, then again in the spring I was told I was first on the list when they started for the year. They continued to tell me they were slowed down, and would come the following week. 5 weeks from when they said they were coming in spring, they wrote to me saying they could not get to me (so obviously I was not first on the list as they told me). The timeframe was not an issue to me, I just needed the help to do the yard clean up, and they never came although they told me throughout that they would be doing it. They did try to tell me to use another company that I had previously indicated I was not interested in going with.

Great work, worth the money and hired for additional work.

Great company to work with

I have used a few landscaping companies in Derry, and Turf Detail has been by far the best! No only are their prices very competitive, they do the best job when comparing to other companies work. When mowing, they take simple extra steps to take care of areas in the yard that other companies overlook (i.e. grass on steps, between rocks, etc). You can tell they truly care about what they do, and about their customers!
