A Very Good Cleaning Co

Arrived a little late but the work was excellent and some very difficult spots removed. Very easy and pleasant to deal with.

Provider initially returned call to set a date for service. We set the date and he confirmed by email (+) Provider called to change time on same date and sent another confirm email. (+) Provider offered to give price for vent cleaning when I mentioned that certain rooms were dirtier/dustier than other. When I asked him about it during the service call, he did not price it out and no longer seemed interested in providing that service. (-) Provider cleaned rugs. I did not notice if he did any stain treatment. When I asked about the 2 stains that were still apparent, he suggested I let the rug dry, and that if the spots were still objectionable, he would return another day. (-) The stains in the rug are still noticeable, but my husband and I were equivocal about calling the provider to come back. We realize that it is a light colored rug and that it is 6+ years old. Pricing: the service provider cleaned the MB and adjacent dressing room, the hall and one BR for the $100. He charged an additional $90 for the other 2 BR. I agreed to it, but in truth, we are talking about the traffic area of each room, and the 2 additional rooms added up to about 30 square feet total.(-) The provider also told me about his other main job which means that rug cleaning is perhaps not his main job. I did feel that he was rushing, but was trying to do a good job. So 3 weeks out, the rug looks okay; the traffic areas are again dark so it may be time for a new rug. Nothing wrong with the service, but nothing stellar either.

Mark was punctual and courteous. He walked the house with me first to see the areas he would be cleaning and to check on areas that I wanted him to pay special attention to. He had all the equipment, cleaning supplies, and water to do the job. He got to work and cleaned all areas thoroughly. At one point, he stopped to show me the "before" and "after" on a carpet in one room. He answered all questions I had. We had moved most of the furniture out of the way so he could clean. He moved furniture that was too big to get out of the way--back and forth so that the entire carpet was cleaned.

My carpets looked very nice while he was cleaning, but most if not all the spots that were pre-treated, became visible again on the carpet. They became visible shortly after the steam cleaning was done.

Mark called to see if he could come early which was unexpected but appreciated. He looked around to find the best way to hook up his equipment and was especially considerate considering everything was just cleaned and prepped for my move-in the next day. He asked about any particular problem areas and I showed him where the painter got paint on the carpeting. He wasn't sure he'd be able to get it out but said he would try. He was able to get it out about 95% but I could only see it if I really looked hard and even my mother didn't notice it which was the real test! Mark was very nice & professional. The only reason I put B for quality is that after seeing the amazing before/after pix on his angie's list page I guess I was expecting a bit more of a difference. The stairs were in pretty bad shape and the painter had gotten paint on them too but they didn't look too much different when Mark was done. I could tell they were cleaned but I thought it might look more revived. Also, I had asked how long it took to dry and he told me where he started would be dry by time he finished but that was not the case even though I had air conditioning. It took pretty much 24 hrs to be totally dry. Overall though I would use Mark again and recommend him to others.

On time, very pleasant and professional. The off-white berber carpets look like new, which is not an easy thing to do in a camp setting, and a long history of multiple golden retrievers!

My carpet hadn't been cleaned in over 8 years. The stairs and traffic area of hallway were deeply dirty and stained where the kids had dropped food and splashed drinks. Bedroom carpet was very stained from food being eaten in bedroom. Carpet is a light cream color. I didn't think there was much hope of getting it clean. Mark arrived right when I was expecting him. He introduced himself and his company and gave me a couple of his business cards. He told me about the process he used and how long it would take to complete and how long to dry. I expressed my concern about being able to clean a carpet this dirty and he said it would definitely show an improvement even in the traffic areas and asked me what the stains were so he would know how to pretreat them. He brought in his equipment quickly, asked if we had a cat or any small pet that shouldn't be let ourdoors because he would have to leave the door open for the hose that attaches to his truck. He pretreated the stairs and all the problem areas quickly and went right to work steam cleaning. He finished quickly and we walked through to look at the finished results. The whole area looked brighter, smelled clean and the stains except for one or two that were very dark originally and were now only dimly noticeable, were all gone. The bedroom carpet looked new. He cleaned up his equipment quickly and I asked him about a couple of rugs that I would like cleaned and he looked at them before saying whether he was able to clean them or not. I also asked him about deep cleaning the tile and grout in my kitchen which he looked at and said he could do. I felt he did a wonderful job for a fair price and I was very satisfied. I was impressed with his professionalism and his work, as well as his pleasant manner and I felt he patiently answered all my questions about this job and future jobs. I am going to be calling him again to do the rugs and other bedrooms and to clean my kitchen tile.

It went very well. I am amazed how my white sofa of 18 years looks.

Mark had some cool tools for finding 'problem areas' and treating and cleaning them appropriately.

They were on time and did good work. Everything turned out very nicely.

Mark was very professional and arrived on time and went right to work. He was mindful of securing the vacuum hose carefully thru our front flower bed in order to get into the front door and upstairs. His worked quickly and bore up under massive thunderstorms and rain downpours to get the job done. Our couch was very stained and his cleaners really made a huge difference. The cleaners were not chemical-smelling but very pleasant and light. I highly recommend A Very Good Cleaning Company and will use them again.

. Having received my large deposit, they then took weeks to do the task. Apparently the brother over-promised and is not working for the company's owner any more. The owner was very apologetic and did throw in a small item for free.

He showed up as promised, cleaned and treated all carpets. All is good now.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. The work turned out well. The gentleman, Mark, charged me twice and he is supposed to be sending me back the reimbursement for it. I haven't gotten it yet and it has been a couple of weeks. I have to call and see if he is going to send it back. I went above the Big Deal by $60 because he ended up doing some additional cleaning while he was here. He charged me $210 on top of the $150 that I already paid. Other than the billing it was a great experience. Mark was very prompt in responding and coming to the house. He has actually been back once since then to treat some pet stains I had from a tenant. He was great and other than the billing issue, it was a great experience.

Mark said the job would take about an hour and a half, which was accurate. He successfully removed all the coffee stains in the grey burber carpet (some very old) and also removed many pet stains. Upon his completing the job, the carpets looked new again! He did an excellent job, was polite, friendly, on time and finished within the time frame he quoted. Overall it was a very good experience and I'd reccomend him.

OK, so I was gonna rent a carpet cleaner and do it myself the weekend before my move, but that didn't work out. So on Sunday evening, I went on Angie's list and found Mark's cleaning service. My move was that Weds and I thought there's no way I'm gonna get my carpets cleaned before I move. Mark called me right away (Sunday night!) and was extremely friendly and helpful. He asked me when my move was, I said Weds, he said he'd come over Tues at noon so that my carpets would be dry when I move in. OMG!! And he did just that. I couldn't be at the house, so I left the back door open. He texted me when he came in, gave me an update during the cleaning and locked up and texted me when he left. He did a great job and was extremely professional and friendly!! This is a top-notch service, I'd highly recommend Mark to anyone and everyone!!

Mark was very nice and knowledgeable. He cleaned the carpets quickly and they smelled good afterward. They weren't strongly perfumed but just pleasant, which was great for us (we don't like overpowering perfumes).

A Very Good Cleaning Co. did very good. This was my first time using them. He was a great guy who really worked hard, making sure the carpets were clean.

Mark, the owner, was very responsive and cooperative. I liked the fact that he owned the company and provided services directly. I shy away from franchise companies as the work typically isn't as good and more expensive. He was actually able to take most of the stain from an orange sharpie out of a light carpet which was a casualty of rambunctious dog. I was very pleased.

the appointment was made without great delay. The technician who arrived was not aware that this was an Angie's List deal. He seemed very disappointed and try to get us to add to our original work order. He was never rude or unpleasant but he could have better disguised his displeasure with the fact that he wasn't going to be getting any more money out of us. That said, he did a wonderful job cleaning the carpets. The entire house smelled so clean when he left!

Mark arrived on time evaluated the carpets to be cleaned and got straight to work. There were a few stains on the carpets and as this is a newly purchased home I had no idea what had caused the stains. All stains were removed and the carpets look like new. Mark was super efficient and got the job done in just 90 mins. My Wife arrived sometime after and was amazed at how the carpets looked. We will definitely use A Very Good Cleaning Company in the future.
