*Extremely* impressed with David Chaput and his crew. Every single issue which arose in this remodel of an older "custom" bathroom has been resolved with skill, impeccable workmanship and continuous communication. The old bathroom had been DIY'ed just about to death by the previous owner and there were numerous problems in the electrical and plumbing areas. During demolition of the existing shower area it became obvious that there was significant structural defects and rotting which were addressed as they were found with solid new design and construction practices. I consider him a trusted advisor and look to him first for advice and recommendations. Do yourself a favor if you are considering building or remodeling and talk with David. You won't be sorry.

We asked a plumber who was working at our home if could recommend a carpenter. He suggested Dave, who owns Solid Rock Builders. We hired him and are very pleased that we did. Dave and his assistant did excellent work. Dave replaced pieces of oak flooring that were damaged (and he went out of his way to find unfinished red oak to match). No one can tell the difference between the old and new floor! They installed new floor trim, a handrail in the cellar (to code), and completely trimmed a bathroom. He replaced missing pieces of wood in several places outside, such as under the front door. Rather than use wood, he used PVC, which blends in but won't decay. We were very happy that he took that extra step. Dave did numerous additional repairs as well. His price was very reasonable and included supplies. He showed up when he said he would, returned phone calls, and was exceptionally nice to work with. He and his assistant did quality work, and we would definitely use him again.
