Live Free Heating & Cooling

My only minor complaint is that the work was scheduled for 8:30 but the crew did not show up until about 10:30. I had planned to work a half day from home but ended up working the whole day from home. (I am fortunate that my employer is flexible.) Other than that, everything was great. They were professional, friendly, did good work, put down a tarp to protect my laminate flooring, and cleaned up after themselves. I would recommend them to others and would use them again.

My furnace stopped working on a Friday. I called them on Sunday and they were in my home fixing the furnace on Monday morning. It needed a part but he got the furnace running temporarily. The part was ordered and it took about two weeks for it to arrive. He called and made the appointment to install it. They came the next day. It did not take him long and my furnace is running fine now. He was very professional both on the phone and when he came to my home. I would definitely hire them again. Nice company to do business with and their prices were reasonable.

Pete spent a lot of time figuring out a problem that other techs had clearly ignored when servicing the furnace in the past.

Live Free was recommended by a friend. I called them because we wanted to install a new furnace and see if we could also install central air. They were at the house within 48 hours of my call and sent a text that they were on their way. They reviewed the entire house with us. We were told that they could, of course, install a new furnace, and then to our delight, central air could be installed as well. We received a quote the next day, it was fair and we said that we would go with them. They started the job the very next week and again sent a text stating their ETA. They were so neat and clean, so respectful of our home. We have used the central air since the install and it was fantastic. I also had a Mitsubishi ductless system installed in my room that is located away from the main house. I love it!!! I would highly recommend this company to anyone. Very, very nice people.

Excellent!! My oil burning water tank went at 5PM on a Friday. After being told from the plumber that came to my house that they couldn't get a tank for a week and was left with just cold water ( $500 later ) !!!! I decided to go on line and look for other plumbers and referrals . I liked the comments on Live Free Heating and Cooling. My first contact was Jay who patiently worked with me all weekend and answered all my questions plus gave me a quote , which they don't normally do but I was anxious about the cost. Pete and Tyler came to my house Monday morning to verify everything. Tuesday morning Tyler and Brady showed up to do the work, They were very polite and professional yet approachable and left the work place very clean. Being a senior and on a fixed income I was also very pleased to find that financing was also something they offered. I reached out to Live Free Heating & Cooling on the 9th April 2018 to try and get them to come in and perform a diagnostic on why my heating system kept turning off randomly and emitting a smell of heat oil. Left a voice message on 603-270-9182 highlighting the urgency and my concern but didn't get a call back. I did not get a chance to see the quality of their work but when I don't get a call back, even to say they're busy or I'm out of their service area then it doesn't fill me with confidence as a consumer. What's disappointing is that the company indicated that they did not get my call so I've attached a picture from my company's call logs to prove that I did. Sad that I have to do this.

I can't recommend Live Free Heating highly enough. From start to finish, they were professional, prompt, and polite. They installed a new boiler for us this winter. The initial install went great, and when we had some minor issues afterwards, they came out immediately to address them and to triple-check that everything got resolved. They were also always willing to answer questions and explain the new install in a way that I could understand. Peter and Tyler (and everybody else on the team) truly stand by their work. It's a great business run by people with integrity.

Excellent! They were very knowledgeable, courteous, and very fairly priced. They listened to any concerns and worked very clean.

Peter showed up at 7:30 on Monday morning. We had a signed contract by Tuesday afternoon. Tyler and Brady showed up on Wednesday. They went right to work. The new boiler was up and running by noon on Thursday. Peter returned on Friday afternoon to answer any questions that the City inspector had. At every step of the way, Peter and Tyler were very patient with me an d explained everything in terms I could understand. We discussed and explored all options and Peter explained the advantages and disadvantages of each so I could make an informed decision.

This was not something I had planned for and was completely unprepared to deal with- having no heat, yikes!!!! And needing a brand new furnace, double yikes!! However, the entire process, from quote installation, was done efficiently, professionally and Pete dealt with all my frantic text questions calmly and reassured me that everything would be okay...and it was! I was able to obtain financing with their help and get a new furnace that I could afford. It was such a relief to work with Pete and Tyler! They were so helpful and I am highly impressed with this company!

After spending 4 days in freezing temperatures and finding out that our furnace needed to be replaced, we wanted to find a better business to deal with than the company we were using. We found Live Free Heating & Cooling online and gave them a call to get a quote to replace our furnace, and needed it as soon as possible since we had no way to heat our home. Tyler was able to get to our house within 15 minutes of our call! He took down all the information necessary and got us a complete quote before the day was out, which was over $1000 cheaper than the other quote we received for an almost identical installation. He was also able to install the new furnace two mornings later. He and his crew were professional, friendly, considerate, and really cared. They put forth extra effort knowing that we were in a tough position not being able to heat our home in freezing temps. Their work was fast, clean, and they paid attention to detail. We would highly recommend them as a knowledgeable, reasonable, and professional business. We'll certainly be using them moving forward for our heating and cooling needs.

Service from Live Free was tremendous! Pete,Tyler and Brady were professional,courteous and did top quality work here in our home. I wouldn't recommend anyone but them after the great job they did here. They committed on time,price and quality and they delivered on their promise. Great Job!

Last week Live Free Heating & Cooling installed a Mitsubishi mini-split, heat pump system. They installed a 24k BTU outdoor unit and two indoor units; a 15k BTU unit in the kitchen and a 6k BTU unit. They were prompt, courteous and always very professional. Peter and Tyler completely answered all of my questions. In no way did I ever feel like they were brushing over any topics. They wanted to make sure we understood everything and agreed with whatever they were doing. When the job was complete, they cleaned up thoroughly and ran through all of the components and instructions. We got three quotes from four companies that visited. One company didn’t even bother quoting for some reason. Live Free Heating & Cooling had the quote to us in a few days after the visit. They were not the least expensive but they were not the most expensive either. After speaking with all of them, I thought Live Free Heating & Cooling would provide the best product at the best price. Peter didn’t try to needlessly upsell me either. They considered our situation and provided feedback as to what system would make the most sense both technically and financially. Tyler and Brady paid attention to detail when installing the system to make sure the ducting and the system looked nice and as unobtrusive as possible. Everything looks great. We’ve never had one of these systems installed by another company so we have nothing to compare to. However, overall we are very pleased with the results and working with them was a pleasure. I would highly recommend Live Free Heating & Cooling.

They made it go smoothly, They worked with the electrician that I choose, got all the permits, were on time and did a very professional job. Even the city inspector commented on what a good installation they did. Highly recommend them.

Great! The guys are so friendly and professional. I felt comfortable having them come and go in the house. They are always very clear about all the options we have for our heating & cooling needs and help us consider the cost and efficiency of the products.
