Glass Slipper Cleaning

The first cleaning this week was spectacular. I was very pleased with how it turned out. No the only that, but the ironing was very good too and they even put the kids clothes into the closets. Very pleased. I hired for weekly service, So far excellent!

They are reliable. The girls are pleasant, honest and work really hard. Their price is reasonable. They are so good with communication and are always persistent.

She is very consistent with her business and her employees. This company is insured and bonded.

Great - Danielle responded to my immediate needs, and we've set up regular cleanings now.

Megan comes every two weeks with a partner. Her partner changes but she'd comes consistently. It is great to have the same person come because she knows the house and what needs to be done. Megan does a wonderful job and so does her team members. She takes the lead and insures everything gets done. She always asks me if I have any special requests that visit and most importantly I trust her and her team mates so I leave my house and feel comfortable.

Danielle, the owner was great to deal with. She was very professional and it was clear that she cares that everything goes well. The crew of 3 that she sent worked very hard for many hours! This house was "broom clean" but had been a rental property for at least 5 years and hadn't been cared for or cleaned thoroughly in a long time! It shines now thanks to Meaghan and her colleagues--thanks!!

I was not home but by husband was there when they were cleaning. I got a phone call from him staying that they will need more time because they were running out of time. So he called and asked me if it was okay for them to stay longer due to them running out of time. So I clarified why they were asking and he said that they needed permission to be in the house to finish the job, and I agreed. Once they have finished they refused to leave until my daughter pays them an additional $75 to cover the extra time. There was no mention of the extra cost when asking to stay. She paid them and I then put a stop on that charge. It was highly unprofessional to put my daughter in that situation and forcing her to pay more or they will not leave.

I have been a customer of Glass Slipper Cleaning for a couple of years now. The housekeepers are always friendly, professional and eager to meet my needs. They clean with very good attention to detail. The kitchen and bathrooms are well cleaned and stainless steel is shiny (not easy to accomplish!) Everything smells and looks very nice when I walk in the house. I always look forward to cleaning days. In addition, Danielle (the owner) is very responsive. She returns calls immediately and is always willing to make scheduling changes when needed. On the few occasions that I have had a concern, Danielle does all she can to make things right and to satisfy my needs. She really wants her customers to be pleased and it shows!

Glass Slipper Cleaners has done a consistently excellent job cleaning our home over the past couple years. In addition to ensuring our home is very clean when they leave, they have responded to special requests with regards to using green cleaning products and using specific cleaning processes. The owner has been very responsive and efficient, particularly regarding scheduling or accommodating vacation travel. I certainly recommend them.

I wanted everything to be spotless. I was afraid of as asthma attack, which happened once, when the youngest child wandered off, and opened the door where I had the cats contained and patted one. In minutes she was all red, her face puffy, and had trouble breathing. So I really stressed about careful vacuuming of rugs, floors, furniture, and dusting everything in sight. She knew I was helpless since I had a serious "Closed head concussion" and wasn't supposed to do much of anything,even moving my head hurt.. When her girl arrived, alone, and late, I was shocked. I'd never seen her before, and usually" Silver Slipper" works in teams. I asked her name, which I promptly forgot (concussion symptom), and told her to start in the living room because I wanted to take a shower and wake myself up. After the shower I dressed and went into the living room and noticed that she was vacuuming the rug with a 4" brush. I asked her how she expected to get deep dirt up with an upholstery brush. Then she admitted that she forgot the brushes that belonged inside the vacuum, that it was empty. I told her to use my small pole SHARK, because it would have more suction and made her do the rugs over. It needed to be emptied twice, on two rugs, which showed how well the little brush worked. Then I noticed the coffee table, with it's glass top all streaked. It looked like clouds on the top of the glass. When I asked her what she used she showed me a container of Clorox bathroom cleaner. I started doing a slow burn. she had done my granite counter tops, and used the same stuff on those. I ran my hand on top on the counter tops, and they felt gritty, and had crumbs on them. Then I realized that she hadn't moved the toaster oven or, paper towels off the counter. I called her over, asked her to hold out her hand, and wiped my hand on hers, and asked her how it felt. No REPLY. Just a grimace. At this point I'd had enough. I asked her to leave. She requested a check, saying she'd washed the floors, and cleaned the rugs and did my bathrooms. I wrote the check. As she was getting in her car, I noticed "dust bunnies" on the hardwood floor, and a lot on lint on the carpet where I stood in the doorway. I told her she did a lousy job and I wanted my check back, to re-write it. She accused me of yelling at her and said she was going to call the police, as my neighbor across the street stood in her doorway with a phone in her hand., Then she said she was going to tell Danielle that I never paid her, to get ME in trouble, and I said, "go head honey, I'll have your job". Closed the door, and called Danielle. Who still insisted I owed her money. For "Travel" . Since it was the girls car and I had to re-do all the work when I was supposed to be lying still in bed, I wouldn't bend. Some people are money hungry. She had two years of revenue behind her that could have continued but because she didn't treat her help well the turn over was huge ( I often heard the girls talking), and she let me go, because she messed up. This time, she didn't train the person she sent me, even though I specified special needs for an important occasion in my life,. Who sends out a maid, without a bucket full of cleaning materials and a mop? And a pleasant attitude?. Good Luck

I've had Glass Slipper Cleaning staff clean my house several times now. The first time was a "deep cleaning" in Aug 2014 after I returned from extended travel. Oh did my house looks so great when they were done! The staff was very cheery and professional, they really seemed to love their job. So I had them come back in Aug 2015 for another "deep cleaning." Same result, cheery staff, professional job, clean house that literally SPARKLED! So...I decided to have them come back once a month for a "regular" cleaning (3 hrs). And I am just as happy. I honestly don't know how they make my house sparkle each time, but they really do! I look forward to my house cleaning every month now!!

Not a happy customer. Discussed scope with owner, Danielle, on the phone before booking (2000 sf house, 3Bed, 2.5 baths inhabited by 2 tidy adults.) She didn't express any concern about her team being able to complete the work within the hours purchased, even though I emphasized there was a recent bath remodel resulting in a lot of construction dust. This was just a house cleaning, not a "spring cleaning or move out or anything crazy - it would take ME maybe 4 hours. Bottom line, the two women who showed up did not finish the house in the time allotted hours (they didn't dust or vac the formal living room or dining room), and I refused to pay for extra time. I discussed it with the owner who said she'd come by to correct their misses (not to finish the work they didn't get to), but apparently she couldn't find time within the next few days, as I haven't heard from her again. Bottom line, these women worked 4 hours straight but I can't figure out on what! They absolutely spent too long on certain things like the bathrooms - 1 was brand new and cleaned 2 days before, the other was a small 42 sf bath with only a shower. I believe they spent an hour each on those alone, and still didn't get under the vanity to vac the hair/retrieve dropped q-tips. The bedrooms were basic dust/vac - can't take more than 20 min each, even if there's more dust than normal. A swipe is a swipe, with a cloth or a vac. Even at that, there were a lot of misses (bases of floor lamps, heat registers, etc.). Good job in the kitchen although not happy to hear they used lysol on the (sealed) granite, and needed my granite cleaner to do the after cleanup. Just an overall unsatisfactory experience.

First I would like to say that the owner Danielle was very professional and returned all of our calls promptly. We explained that we were just looking to have all the baseboards and trim cleaned along with ceiling fans. On the company website they list packages of different types of cleaning and we selected the "deep cleaning" package which included baseboards,trim and around windows. My wife didn't want any appliances cleaned and the outside windows didn't open easily so they only cleaned the insides. We just didn't like getting on our hands and knees to clean the baseboards. Neither my wife or I were home my mother in-law let the women in. They arrived on time and got right to work. When i arrived home the girls were just finishing up. I looked everything over and wasn't too impressed but I gave them a check anyways and we contacted Danielle to explain our dissatisfaction. She promptly had her people come back to complete the work. But even after we still noticed that they skipped cleaning the trim and baseboard behind the furniture in our bedrooms. On the website it says "3. Moving large pieces of furniture to clean behind & under. " We didn't care about the clean "under" we just wanted the trim and baseboards. I gave Glass Slipper Cleaning a poor score for price and quality. We got other quotes for the same work for significantly less.

The cost was deceptive. They charged by the person so if you purchased 8 hours and you got 2 people, you only get 4 hours of cleaning. I think that should be stated before you purchase.

We were in a pinch and needed an empty house cleaned in a hurry. Glass slipper cleaning was very responsive and found a way to fit me into their schedule the next day... I really appreciate that Danielle went out of her way for us. Maybe it was because of how quickly we had the service done, but there were a few things that made the experience a little more painful. Coordinating the cleaning involved more back and forth than I would have expected. The voicemail box was also full (for the main business number listed which is also her cell), which means it was impossible to leave a voice message. She was however, very responsive via email and text. The cleaning itself was well done and the price was slightly higher than their competition - but certainly worth the value for the expedient next-day service.

Best cleaning service around and reasonably priced! They were punctual and thorough. My glass doors never looked so clean with other services!

I was quoted after they viewed the house to be cleaned a price of $273 and was billed $417 and they saw the house prior to getting the job. I paid 387.92 from a 273 quote just to end the deal as soon as I could. I would not recommend them to anyone!

We needed a deep clean of our home, prior to moving in. We had had some work done, and wanted to not move into a dusty space. Danielle to the rescue! She was able to get a crew in over the same week we moved in- and the best part- it was one thing that I didn't have to think about! The place looked fantastic! Danielle made it easy to pick/ choose the services I needed, tailoring our experience to our exact needs (ie yes bathrooms, no windows). The payment process was easy as well. I'd definitely recommend Glass Slipper to come into your home!

Three young ladies did a thorough and professional job dusting,cleaning and sweeping floors and washing them. I was very pleased with the thoroughness and scope of cleaning. What a difference! The owner came by after they were done and did a thorough inspection.

Well/ Professional, completed all tasks to satisfaction. Did not think the whole place would be done in the time allotted, but it was successfully and skillfully done.

I used them while my regular service was away on vacation. I spent around $35 an hour. They were very nice and they were prompt.

I contacted Danielle and left her a message. She replied back to me within the hour. I explained what I needed and we agreed to meet me on a Saturday Morning. That morning she called to say she was running late and that she'd be there in 90 minutes. Not a problem, I appreciated the call and left to do some errands. She arrived on time and got right to work. We walked to house while I explained what I needed. She gave me a price on the spot, we agreed on a time and day and I paid 1/2 up front with the balance upon completion. I also gave her a key. The appointed day came and apparently the ladies assigned to the job were running late. This meant that the job would have to be done in two days instead of one. Since the house is unoccupied, it wasn't a problem for me, but I am a stickler for punctuality. I had to get a few chores done so I showed up at the house while the cleaners were there. They were very nice, professional and were working very hard. I introduced myself and after chatting with them for a few minutes, I left them to do their work. The next day I walked in, again to some tasks completed and they were nearly done. Again they were very friendly and happy to see me. I was very pleased, the house smelled clean, the dust buildup was gone, the windows were clean. I inspected the bathrooms which were in an urgent need for a very deep cleaning and they were spotless. I completed my tasks and left them. A few comments. They did a very good job for me. I found their pricing fair, I have seen comparable prices for less work that was to be done. They use top quality professional grade products and the ladies who did the work for me really worked hard and were detail oriented. I know I am a stickler for punctuality but it wouldn't stop me from hiring them again as I would in a minute. Things happen and that is certainly understandable. If you need a service, give them a try, I think even the strictest stickler for cleanliness would be pleased.
