Geek Squad - Best Buy

The guys who came to do the actual install were great. The individual who came out to meet with me to go over my wish list of items was not. Initially he seemed knowledgable....however communication after the initial consult was poor. He said the benefit of working directly with him was he could do evertything, make deals the store couldn't make and it centralized communcations. Then he claimed the company email was not working! When I finally got pricing, he then pushed me to make a decision telling me the TV was going off sale that day. The TV was still on sale 2 weeks later. He sold me a new modem to replace my comcast modem that would not work as it had no jack for the phone I wanted Tivo minis for areas of the house that did not have cable. The tivo minis had to be hard wired, they were not wi fi so the install guys had to run cables to make it work. They took back the router that couldn't be used, and dispite the notes on the work order from the install crew that they took it back, and numerous emails to my initial contact requesting credit it is still on my account. I will have to go to the store to get the credit. Again the install crew worked hard to keep all the promises the magnolia rep made, the rep was sub par for knowledge and communication.

The two person team arrived on time and explained what they were going to do and started immediately working. I asked the one person working on the computer if I could watch over her shoulder to watch how she got around on the new computer. She indicated that it was fine and the other person indicated he would explain anything I had questions about. Both persons were more than willing to answer any and all my questions and they made me feel that I could ask any question to help me get going with my new computer. Everything went just as I wanted and it actually took less time than I had anticipated which I was very pleased about. They were both extremely professional and gave me numbers to call if I had any further questions or if anything went wrong. They also briefed me on some things that could be different and that might give me trouble and how to get around it and some new things that I may not be aware of. I would have no problems calling them again or recommend them to others who might want to purchase this service. Everything went fine and was pleased with this service.

Our service supplier was pleasant ,very capable, professional and efficient. He was able to educate us on the tv controls and operation. He was clear,concise and complete and answered all of our questions.Leaving us very satisfied that we could enjoy our new TV.

They were very good and I was very pleased with their service. I didn’t have any issues and they made me understand what they had to do.

Best Buy was fantastic and the Geek Squad did fix it, but the machine won't stay repaired. Since the ice maker was no longer was covered, they couldn't do anything else. Best Buy ended up buying me a separate ice maker. I thought Best Buy did the best they could, but the Geek Squad let the warranty run out and was at my house nine times. I have a Maytag refrigerator which is supposed to be really good and I paid good money for it. The thing I found out about Best Buy is that they will try to make it right. I will use Best Buy again, but not the Geek Squad.

They helped me set up the computer protection things. They were helpful. Their services were very good. They were very flexible. You can take your computer there or they can come home if needed. I would use them in the future.
