Bill's Handyman Service

I couldn't have been happier with the work Bill did for me.

When the stair treads were removed, Bill noticed that the risers were rotting, so we agreed they should be replaced as part of the job. Bill suggested that they be replaced with white Azek and I thought that was a great idea. Bill and his assistant worked very hard for 7 hours in heat and humidity and I was extremely pleased with the results.

I called Bill and he came out that very same day with a helper. He did everything I needed within an hour at a very reasonalbe price. I would call him again (and probably will soon) in a heartbeat! Job well done.

Not a good experience. Contacted Bill in Sept., 2015, nine months prior to needing him to turn the water on to open our cottage for summer use in late July, 2016. Asked him to go to our house in Sept. to make sure he could do the job. He went and checked out the water turn on valve and said he had the tools and knowledge necessary to do the job with no problem. I thanked Bill and told him I'd call again the following summer to remind him to turn on the water. As promised, I contacted Bill again in early July, 2016 three weeks prior to needing him to actually do the work so he could schedule the job at his convenience (by the way, the job actually takes less than one hour to accomplish). Asked Bill to call me when he finished job. When I did not hear from him, with only 2 days left prior to needing the water turned on, I called him again. He said he could not get to our house because there was an accident on the highway and he couldn't get to the cottage but would get there the next day (the last day he was given to turn the water on). Not sure why he left the work until the last minute or why he couldn't get to our house because there are several roads leading to our place. On the final day, before we needed the water turned on, at 5 PM, Bill called and said he does not have the tools necessary to turn the water on and that I should call someone else to do the job. I asked him why he told me nine months prior that he had the tools and knowledge to do the job and left everything until the very last minute. He said he thought he could do the work but now realizes he can't. It was literally the last minute and we could not get someone to turn on the water. Bill really let us down and left us high and dry. We needed someone to do the recurring seasonal water turn on and turn off and lots of other regular handyman work. We had hoped Bill would be able to help. He said he could. We were very disappointed and will never call him again and cannot in good conscience recommend him to others.

Excellent, timely, worked well to complete the job in good order. Will seek his services again.

I keep a to-do list for him and will continue to work with him in the future. I would be lost without him!

Everything I have asked him to do turns out wonderfully. Not kidding. For a reasonable price and he is VERY quick to respond to phone calls. He is a super nice person as well. I still have requests that he is currently working on now. Beware, when you start working with him you become addicted to having a handyman around because it seems like he can fix anything! My to do lists just seem to keep on going.....
