Description of Work: Their workers didn’t secure what was on the back of their work truck and something black flew off and broke my sons windshield on 93 north we have photos of the truck right after this happened!! He said that the truck looked clean….well what flew off wouldn’t be there anymore CORRECT! Common sense!! But the photos do show shovels standing up leaning on the cab of the truck unsecured and safety cones sitting unsecured on the truck as well! They are denying to pay for the windshield! I am glad this didn’t really hurt my son because it could have been worse but this guy has zero integrity! And can’t be honest with an honest hard working young student how can he run an honest building!

+ -1 moreWe hired Sam Cooper again because the previous work has held up perfectly for 7 years. The property is a challenge with clay, rock and water. He was easy to work with and the work was completed efficiently. The new sections look great!

Description of Work: Our driveway was all mud and puddles from a spring running along side of it. Sam addressed the problem by putting in a french drain to divert the water away. Then proceeded with the paving and had them put in a ramp to our new barn.

Description of Work: Fixed cracks in my driveway and seal coated when he cracks were repaired. When one of the sealed cracks needed to be redone, the owner came right out to review the work and immediately scheduled a time for the resealing. I got quick call back on my first attempt to contact and, while we played "telephone tag" a few times, he would return my "tag you're it" calls within 24 hours of me placing the call.

+ -1 moreEverything went very well. Sam Cooper is very responsive, friendly, and reasonable in cost. He and his crew are very professional and very attentive to details. They did an excellent job with my driveway, and I have recommended him to others. I would not hesitate to use him again in the future.
Description of Work: Edge back grass overgrowth from driveway, clean surfaces free of dirt and debris. Fill 110' of cracks and open joints with hot rubberized crack sealant, coat with black sand s to promote sealer adhesion. Apply latex coal tar based sealer with polymer sand additive to 877 square feet.

+ -1 moreI called to get an estimate for driveway sealing and Sam said he would be out the end of the following workday to measure etc and would call me with the estimate. I expected a phone call that evening, but he did not call. When I did not hear from him the next morning I CALLED HIM about 2 PM. He said he was busy and had not gotten to it and would be out that afternoon. If he could not make it as promised I would have expected him to make the call to say so. Communication in a timely manner is very important to me ( my husband and I are self employed and feel an obligation to our own customers to respond as promised). As a comparison the other companies I called responded in a timely manner. When Sam did come the following day his estimate was significantly higher - almost twice as much as the other two estimates I got.

+ -1 moreThe company did a great job. They arrived after we left for work so there was no interactions with vehicles. And they finished for the day prior to our return home. Email made communication easy. It has been almost a year and the driveway is holding up.
Description of Work: Dug up and replaced 230 ft long section of driveway including base. Replaced culvert. Dug up another section to remove rocks.
