John and his son Jeff were great to work with. They started and completed the projects on time. They partner with excellent licensed pros for specialized areas like plumbing and electrical work. The pricing was fair and the actual cost was close to estimate. Our kitchen cabinets and granite countertop vendors were local and we were able to visit to check out their operations and verify quality before delivery. Overall we are very happy with the service and products provided and have received all positive feedback on our guests. I would recommend Capital Home Improvements for projects.

THE PROJECT WENT VERY WELL. THE FLOOR IS PERFECT. JEFF IS POLITE, NEAT AND PUNCTUAL. THIS WAS THE THIRD PROJECT AND ALL OF OUR EXPERIENCES HAVE BEEN VERY GOOD. EXCELLENT CARPENTRY AND WORK ETHIC.

Jeff was very professional, efficient, punctual and always left the job clean and organized. He completed the entire job above my expectations. Also provided alternative solutions for our existing wood fence enclosing our air conditioning and pool filter. The completed job is beautiful! Friends and Family are so impressed with our new and improved decks. It was a pleasure working with Jeff on this project.

I purchased a Big Deal for six hours of work. Everything went really well and would have been done in that time frame, however once they removed the old vanity it was discovered that there was no existing floor tile underneath, which would be visible with the new vanity. Jeff was extremely helpful offered ideas on new floor tile. They were able to fit me into their schedule the following week to remove the old floor and lay new tile, as well as new baseboard. The overall job was great. They were always responsive and on time.

GREAT! John is very profesional, inteligent and friendly. His work is flawless and his rates are reasonable and competitive. He has an open mind and works diligently. He was undaunted by the challenge of an older home and we look forward to his craftsmanship in the near future.

I didn't realize the drywall repair would take a couple of visits due to the spackling. John came out again another day to give another coat of spackle at no extra charge. I hired him again for another couple of hours to complete the job. Neat and very helpful. Thanks John!

From start to finish, John did an excellent job. He accomplished quite a bit for a single day's work and made good recommendations on future work to be done. I would welcome him back for new projects in the future.

There were a lot of small projects that needed to be fixed in our home and since my husband is a college professor who lives out of state on campus all week and has no time on weekends to make those repairs, we decided to hire Capital Home Improvement to do the work. We were very satisfied with the work John and his helper did for us. They were neat, punctual, reasonable, professional, and managed to complete the work sooner than we expected. Since they did such a good job with these small tasks we're going to hire John again in the future to do other handymen and home improvement work.

Over the years, a clogged gutter caused water to slowly seep into the exterior walls in one of the bedrooms in our older home. The damage was quite extensive. We hired John from Capital Home Improvement to fix the walls, which as he pointed out had extensive mold on the hidden side of the drywall. He recommended that the drywall be replaced and since we're opening up the exterior wall, it would be a good time to add insulation too. We felt that since the renovation was going to be so extensive that we would want John to also install hardwood flooring. The quality of his work was excellent and we are very pleased with the results. Not only does the room look so much better but it's also so much warmer in the winter with the added insulation. John's work was professional and he came right in on budget.

When we decided to renovate our master bathroom, we not only want to update it, we wanted a completely new look. We hired Capital Home Improvement because our past experience with them is that the owner John is very helpful in providing suggestions as to how our renovation projects might look. After spending the time with us on different occasions, he provided us with a practical solution as to how our new bathroom should look taking into account the available room and plumbing resources. He helped us pick out tile, bathroom fixtures, and even helped us shop for the best prices. When I explained to him that I wasn't able to find a vanity that I had in mind, he drew up a plan for me that turned out to be exactly what I wanted. And when he built the vanity and installed it, I was extremely happy with the look and quality of his cabinet building work. His tile work was also perfect and neat as was all of his work considering the magnitude of the project. After the project was complete, John took the time to carefully explained to us the importance of periodic ceramic tile maintenance in a wet area such as a bathroom. And since we have only one shower in our home, John worked longer than usual hours to complete the project so we could have our shower back as soon as possible.

I called Capital Home Improvement to fix my kitchen floor and perform a few handyman type tasks when I couldn't get anyone else to even come and give me an estimate. This turned out to my advantage because I found the owner, John, to be very punctual, neat and professional. He took the time to completely explain the work he was planning to do and itemized the costs very clearly. I plan to use Capital Home Improvement in the future to rebuild my deck.
