I think it is expensive for the channels we receive. Also, sometimes the picture breaks up or freezes.

Installer was most professional and courteous. Workmanship was good but not perfect. Perhaps my expectations on install are too high. In the end, it was a satisfactory job and we are pleased.

They told us they would fix the problem but as of now we still have the same problem. There are no other cable providers in our area.

Notified Metrocast at 7 AM about the outage. There was no wait time to be connected to the help desk. The person on the help desk was very pleasant, tried a number of fixes, but in the end could not find the reason for the outage. He said they would send out a field technician. The tech arrived around 10 AM. He found the problem was a blown fuse in some equipment upstream of my house. Came to the house to let me know that everything was ok and waited until I checked out all the equipment in the house to make sure everything was working properly.

Service providers are limited to 2 - Duopolies should be outlawed. Not much option. Internet speed is SLOW for broadband.

As bad as it can be. If they did not have a monopoly in my small town and several other rural areas , they would be long gone. Unfortunately they are the only game in town. Their prices for everything is ultra high for everything. They nickle and dime you by requiring you "rent" their equipment which is usually 10-year old technology and breaks down every couple of months. The service is funny! They will stop by on whenever they feel like it, do what they want and tell you there is nothing they can do! Their technical support is even more funny. If you try the "chat feature" through the internet you will be the second in line for hours. Do not try that. It has been that way for a few years, and they know it, but don't care. You have no other place to go! To have their bundle system , you must be soft in the head. At least there are a few companies which offer that around here, for less than half the price, and much more features and free calls. Stay away from their phone system. If you can find an alternative , do it. Satelite TV, and VOIP services are now competing with these folks. They do have a lock on internet, but neighboring service providers are hanging lines. Their contract with the town is not exclusive, so if enough people want service from a neighboring town, they will hang wires to connect. Unfortunately, the satellite internet is not a viable option at this point, and that's where they his you the worst with every trick in the book. Service is intermittent at best, and very slow and poor.

Went great, they are fast and reliable service providers! Little bit expensive for the service but I guess I would rather pay that extra for good service!

I have only basic service (am retired) there are not many channels if there were more providers in the area there might be more options availabe
