Description of Work: I identified Livingston Builders through Angie's list and shopped them against a local competitor. I selected LB because of the immediate rapport developed with the owner, Shawn. I found this team exceptional and they will remain a first choice for us as we move through a 75 year old home. Their instincts were in direct alignment with my mine in terms of quality and approach. They came to me regularly to present options and make their recommendations. Clearly, they were only interested in doing "quality" workmanship and not doing cosmetic shortcut fixes. In our selection process for a contractor, our priority was not only the workmanship, but also the comfort we felt in the honesty, genuineness, and relationship with both the owner and the workers. These guys are topnotch and I highly recommend!

Description of Work: I contacted them for a price to build a barn but they were too busy for the next six months.

+ -1 moreHe and his team did amazing work!!! We are so please with the finished product!!! Shawn made it such an easy process, making adjustments per our requests as we went along!!! His tile work in the entry way was amazing! His attention to detail and esthetics is spot on!! We couldn't be happier with the work he did for us!!! We look forward to having him come back for any other projects that may come up in the future!!
Description of Work: he finished our basement: making a living room, kitchenette, 3/4 bathroom (with stand-up shower), office, and entry way.

+ 4 moreShawn was wonderful to work with! He is always prompt in returning calls and emails regarding the projects. He maintains a consistent work schedule throughout the day/week. His estimates have been accurate and is always open to discuss any changes in the plan to improve the final product. He is flexibile with any changes that we want to make. His prices are always fair and accurate. He is friendly and seems to have an honest love for the craftsmanship of his business. His detail work is amazing, adding finishing touches or taking the extra time to make the project look perfect. Shawn always keeps a neat and organized job space, cleaning up everything at the end of the day. My husband and I are very pleased with Livingston Builders, LLC and are looking forward to having them do more projects for us in the years ahead. We can't say enough about how are experience has been and we look forward to referring any friends or family that need any building projects done at their houses.
Description of Work: Shawn team built us a beautiful new deck. The deck measurements are: 36' x 20' wrap around deck We used the Trex Select decking in the color "Saddle" which looks amazing and will last for many years to come.
