The provider was polite and did the work on schedule and his price was reasonable. We followed all the directions carefully regarding the curing and hardening of the blacktop. In fact, we went beyond all the requirements for how long you should not drive or park on new blacktop. However, one third of the driveway was not rolled with the large roller used on the other two thirds. The consequence of this is that parking on that third of the driveway leaves tire indentations in which water pools after rain, ice freezes in in the winter, and it looks bad. I called the contractor back and he came. He admitted that a portion of the driveway was not properly rolled. He was not willing to fix it or reimburse me for any portion of the work and said, "I guess I learned something today." I suppose meaning you have to make sure you roll the whole driveway and not just some of it. This portion of the driveway is the section nearest the garage and we do not park on it to this day. If you want to pay for this provider's education and want a less than satisfactory job when he is done, hire him.
Description of Work: The contractor removed the blacktop on our old driveway and replaced it with with new blacktop.
