Ray did a beautiful custom job installing hardwood stair treads to the basement and covering exposed foundation wall with beadboard. It took several days of measuring, cutting, and fitting. but the result matched our hardwood flooring on the main floor. We are extremely pleased with the stairs.

Ray did an excellent job remodeling our staircase. He is very professional, very detail oriented and a great guy. Our remodel job was a little more complicated than at first glance, and Ray suggested a modification that really made everything look better than our original thought. Rayâ  s pricing was very reasonable. I highly recommend Rayâ  s Woodworks!

Well although Ray did a nice job we paid $5055 to get our railings and stair treads done. Had to purchase our own wood putty, had to remove our own debris otherwise would have been charged another $125, we went to the dump and paid $26.00. The paint that we paid for he would not leave behind for us to touch up. Also charged me another $30.00 for paint before walking out the door, yet didn't get rest of can of paint, Wanted wainscoting paneling put up with molding was told it would cost another $375.00. My Husband finished it up and did a beautiful job. I know that he has to make a living, however could have been a little more giving to us since he ruined our brand new driveway we just had done in June of this year by getting oil on it from his van and couldn't even leave us a can of paint??? Took 2 weeks to complete from time he started doing work. Like I said meticulous yes but definitely runs on his own time. I would recommend him, but beware of other little hidden fees.

We hired Ray to replace several of our oak stairs. The bottom step was a Very difficult project just by itself, due to a wood floor that had been cut to go around the carpet that had previously been on the stairs... it turned out perfect. He also was able to get all the older oak stair boards to match the new one's he installed. Our project also included installation of a new post, rail and balusters at the top of the stairs, which is a Vast improvement over the old one (and much safer and secure). We are going to have him bid on our kitchen remodel when we start that project this spring.
