Excellent experience, technician arrived on time. Friendly, efficient, kept me up to date on the plan. Leak was diagnosed and toilet replaced in no time!

Paul, our service technician, was timely, knowledgeable, and efficient. I can highly recommend Heritage Home service on this account. However I am extremely unhappy with the company's new service plan offered. I will explore other providers for this reason, and may not use Heritage Home Service in the future.

It was done right

AJ was fantastic. He showed up at the scheduled time, and got right to work. He performed a system check and zeroed in on the problem very quickly. It was quite clear to me that he knew exactly what he was doing and that I was in good hands. He made the required repairs to my furnace, started the system back up and stayed with me a while to make sure it ran correctly and to be sure that I was satisfied that the problem had been solved. I certainly was. Besides being a skilled technician, AJ is also a very nice person. Heritage should be glad and proud to have him as an employee. Thank you AJ, Kevin Hoyt

This project was completed in a timely manner and was scheduled when I needed due to other work going on at my house. The plumbing was installed professionally and looks great.

They came out when they said they would, diagnosed the problem and gave me a quote for repair/replacement during the visit. Within a few days they scheduled the replacement work.

We had 2 water pipes burst in house yesterday, Feb. 4th after the record freeze. We contacted Heritage and they had Matt Smith come by the next morning at 9 AM. He was courteous, professional and very efficient. He repaired our pipes in 30 minutes and made sure everything was working properly. He did a great job and we appreciate the great service from Heritage. T

Heritage is a slam dunk. You can always count on them responding to you, showing up, and having professional and courteous technicians every step of the way. Mike Dinsmore came early to an emergency appointment where we had no heat. It was the end of the day and he was friendly, efficient and helpful in educating us on our problem. Plus, he fixed our problem. You get what you pay for. Heritage is the best.

David Sisson from heritage was great! Came out at like 9pm in a snow storm to help with our dead sump pump and rising water level! Heritage was the only company available to come out and really saved our day.

It was very good. They went to home depot. They bought all the fixtures. He did everything for me. They were the best. They went above and beyond. It was done for 6 hours. They were worth it. I told my friends to use him.

They were great. On time, neat and clean. They do what ever they say to do. Very knowledgeable. They know what they are doing. Pleasant to work with. Don't leave a mess, clean up after the work.

They charged me $700 and then told me it just needed to be turned on under the sink. I complained about the price and they lowered it to $600.00 but I would still not use them again.

The price charged was unfair. Replacement of the valve was simple, requiring less than 10 minutes of the plumber's time to attach it to existing threaded copper elbows using two screws supplied with the valve. The retail price of the valve is $35. Heritage charged $458.15 for 10-minutes' work and a $35 part.

Not well at all. I called Heritage (last year they installed a split AC system - that went very well) to replace my PVB. I told the guy who booked appointments that I knew exactly what my system used and what would be replaced. This isn't complex. He told me they couldn't work that way and have to come out and see. Then they could give me a price. That costs $89.00. I said yes. Complaining to him that he or someone should be able to estimate this given how common a configuration it was, was a waste of time. He just booked appointment and no one could be consulted. They apparently need to review the problem and estimate even for something as common as this. I know a bit about plumbing. I estimated this to be a one hour job plus parts. On the net I found the PVB equivalent to what I had. The trip, the labor and the part (plus markup). With all this in mind, I developed an estimate of my own. The tech came out and quoted me $759. That was almost double my estimate. I was not happy at all. We chatted a bit. I learned that this is a flat rate job for them. It's so common that they don't estimate it. They have a price. I told him how ridiculous this was. Since it's a flat rate they could have quoted this on the phone and avoided the trip and my cost (in time waiting for him and the check I wrote). He agreed, "but this is how they do it", he said. Post Script - On the Plaistow (my town) Facebook group there are recommendations for tradesmen. I called the most positively reviewed plumber, he came out yesterday, estimated the job and told me he'd do it next week. I agreed. Today is the day after, he was in the area, completed the job nicely and half the price which is about what my mental estimate was.

The technician (Richard) was very professional. We wanted a second opinion on a couple of parts we were told we needed when our Central AC was tuned by another company. We were suspect because the other technician didn't show us the worn parts before putting everything back together. Richard pointed out that the dual capacitors were only 2 years old and therefore didn't need replacement; only a new condenser fan motor was needed. It saved us about $300. However, their AC tune-up is a bit more expensive compared to other companies, but it includes 6 month coverage (which the most other companies don't include).

All went very well. We purchased our new condo (built in 2000) in September of 2017 and there were stickers for Heritage on all the heating and A/C equipment items. Since everything was in good working condition when we moved in, we figured we would try the company. I was very impressed with Tom, who came out, checked things out and helped us to understand our contract. We were comfortable with him and the contract. Since then, Tom has been here 1 more time to assess the condition of our heating equipment, as per contract and that went well also. Me being somewhat new to the type of heating equipment we have, Tom took time to explain how things worked and even gave me a few hints as to how to save energy with our furnace/water heater. He will be back in June to assess the A/C system. We are pleased with the service we have received so far and expect that all will continue as such.
