Derek looked at everything I asked him to. He gave me his insights. He found one issue that may require a structural engineer's opinion. Derek is nice and personable. He is patient and unassuming.

Everything went just fine. His people were professional and polite. I am very happy with the results and would definitely recommend him to anyone else. What few minor problems we had were dealt with quickly and efficiently.

Absolutely fantastic job! He was in line with other quotes we received, but we were impressed with his knowledge of the job. Estimated job quickly and came the day promised to do the job and finished when he said they would. His crew are workhorses and extremely organized. I had found that many shingles had blown off my roof during an Easter wind storm. Derek promptly replied to my request to come by to check out the damage. He arrived the next day to do a temporary patch to the bare wood roof to prevent further damage as rain was forecast for the following day. Due to his quick response and professionalism, I hired Derek and his crew to remove two layers of shingles, re-shingle the entire roof and replace two old skylights that had failed. His crew arrived on-time and tarped off the ground so as to make certain that the site was kept clean. The work site was completely cleaned each day, not even one roofing nail was found anywhere. They did an excellent job on both the roof and skylights and I would definitely recommend Derek and his crew due to their professionalism and fair project cost. Thanks Derek!

Derek's construction crew did an excellent job. Everything was competently completed and the entire area was very well cleaned after the job was done. Derek supervised and his workers were courteous and hard-working.

Throughout the entire process, from the initial quote to the completion of the work, Derek was communicative and upfront about all aspects of the job. As the job progressed and issues came up, he took the time to explain the pro's and con's of the options, and never tried to talk us into work that we didn't need, but still made sure that things were done right. One area of our roof is particularly flat, and Derek suggested that we change to a different type of material to provide additional protection against water ingress, and the fact that we survived Snowmagedden 2015 without a leak is a statement about the quality of the work. He and his crew showed up on time, were always pleasant and professional, and kept the work area neat and clean and still accommodated our needs. We have since used Derek's team to remove snow from the roof and to do some other renovations around the house, and again, the level of attention and communication ensured a smooth and stress free project.

Derek responded to our call that same day. He came for an estimate quickly. He communicated with us about the schedule service promptly and sent a team to do the work in a few days. The work was done well. The team cleaned up and left no tacks or debris around. They were polite and careful. We think Derek is honest and professional. He and his company are top-notch professional roofers and we would definitely have them do work for us in the future.

This group of professionals replaced a 24 year old shingled roof with a quality GAF Timberline HD product, replacing spots of dry rotted plywood decking, replacing leaded chimney flashing on a two story Garrison Colonial in a record 2+days..... Great Job Team...

I called Derek in the morning. He called right back & spoke with my husband. He came right over. He assessed the problem and fixed it without any charge. He said we won't need a new roof for another 5 years. Derek is honest, generous and quick to respond. We will definitely call him in 5 years and recommend him highly.

They came as a three man team, worked from dawn to dusk, and finished the work in one day.? I have also had Derek and his workers do some cedar shake repairs, and installing of heating cables to prevent roof ice dams.? He and his workers are very personable, diligent, and I would go to them again for any roof work.?? His quotes seems fair to me, and he honors them to a "T".? Highly recommend his company.

Job went great. Guys were courteous with no bad language and clean up was as if they were never there. They were very punctual and at times worked past dark. No slackers here. Derek was great on communication and quick with an estimate.

It's a pleasure to deal with Derek & Co.. Specializes in roofing, but familiar with many other things. Was first a subcontractor to our general contractor, then we used him ourselves. Repaired some missing shingles (not installed by him) free, which was much appreciated. Roofing job is very neat and attractive and no leaks even after some severe rains. Total cost of all jobs is an estimate because work under general contractor was bundled with other items. At several points I sought Derek's advice and followed it. There were various dates involved over the past two years or so, 1/1/12 here is a placeholder date; don't remember exact dates .

Derek was very professional and honest. I called about a roof leak, and I expected an up-sell for an entire new roof, but Derek suggested that I wait a few more years before replacing the entire roof. Very pleased with the work he did... leak is no more!

They had a crew of about 5-6 people who finished the roof in two days. They did a fantastic job cleaning up after the service. We got about 5 estimates and went with Derek because of the quality of work he provides. I would highly recommend him to anybody.

The service turned out very well. My insurance covered half the of roof. They cleaned up everything and did not leave any shingles in the yard. They were nice people to deal with and finished in the time frame specified.
