Description of Work: We had a new roof put on our house and some small additional work. Overall very good job, we did have some problems but generally they were fixed. The owner was very nice and professional with a true concern that everything was to our satisfaction. I was put off by some of the behavior of his workers. would give a B+ because of that.

Description of Work: I joined Angie's list for the sole purpose of finding a roof contractor. I reached out to five contractors, a few who have A ratings here as well. Derek was the first to stop by at my convenience and his price was very competitive. He told me the roof would take about three days just due to the fact that the days are so short this time of year. The job was completed on time and it looks great. They were also very respectful of the yard. By the end of each day it was spotless. I highly recommend Derek!

Description of Work: Derek and his team completed an entire new roof project. the team arrived exactly when they said they would and finished the job ahead of their completion estimate. the entire team was polite and professional in their work. they were very good at keeping me informed of their progress. the team was careful about our plants and shrubs and cleaned the entire yard before leaving the site. Derek and his team were one of the best work crews that we have had do any work for us. we would highly recommend them.

Description of Work: I needed two skylights replaced. I was stood up by 3 contractors and that was just for an estimate! I found Derek thru Angieslist and he came THAT DAY to give us a quote! He was very reasonable and professional. We hired him to do the job and within one week the parts were here and they already installed them! I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

+ -1 moreI had a leak in my ceiling. Called D.C. Construction, who I heard of from a family member. He came over and reviewed the job and gave me a price. He said he would try to fit me in due to the leak. Within one week, due to people going on vacation who postponed their roofing needs they came and within one day the old roof was off and all the new shingles were on. I had some trim that came off in a wind storm and he replaced that at no charge and also came inside and put the new drywall on the ceiling at no charge. They were very efficient, professional and cleaned up everything before they left. They did an excellent job, and I would recommend them to any of my friends or family. I had only one roof replaced now and am having the other roof replaced within the next two years and will definitely have them do this.

Description of Work: He completly cleaned off the old defective roof and put on a new roof with higher quality shingles and added features for protection in valleys and on a roof that has a low slope. He also added extra protection around the sky lights.

The roof stands out and is very attractive. Also, the shingles come with a lifetime guarantee!And his pricing was amazing and they finished in 2 days!

+ -1 moreDerek and his crew were professional, hard working and courteous while doing their work. They cleaned up each day and left the property in good order. The roof looks great and am very pleased. Derek found several areas where the previous roofers had taken short cuts with the old roof. Derek's crew took the extra time to make things right. The house had 10 dormers - two other roofing companies that I spoke with did not even want to come out for an estimate as they did not want to deal with the dormers. Derek's response was very quick and he started the job on time as promised.
Description of Work: Derek Cook and his crew removed, hauled away and replaced the old roofing with 25 squares of GAF asphalt architectural roofing.
